@@NG-de4nl That is a very true statement. I wstched them many times live and in person. There are so many drumlines that people say this is, or that is and they haven't seen that many lines historically, including myself. Percussion sections before 1977 I am sure were great to witness and better than any of us realize because we did not get to see it live and in person. Furthermore, many sections hence could be deemed better especially since there are so many in the same lines that would say so. Members in various percussion sections over the years who are friends of mine have told me just that. Whether I have competed with them or competed against them.
@@NG-de4nl Bridgeman 1982... one tick in competition. They scored a 19.8 approximately 2 weeks before finals. They sold those particular judges sheets at there souvenir stand. It might as well have been zero ticks. Talking to members of that line It was a simple roll that night if I remember correctly. I still have a copy of that. Otherwise judges have deemed it so. Whether they actually heard it or not is another question. Regardless of the decade 40s, 50s, 60s and so on. There are " tickless" percussion sections that I am sure neither one of us has ever heard just because of age.
So unbelievably clean! Legend has it they're still the cleanest drumline ever....
That line would not even say that! My fellow brothers who marched in the line the next year would probably say that 2007 was better.
Ever is a long time and there are many lines to choose from over the years that did not TICK.
@@ondrauscissell6952 that’s a false statement

Joseph House is among the GOATs.

I like this show better but I prefer the 2007 line.
