Really like the look of this game. According to Steam it will be available in Early Access on the 15th and the screenshots show trains as well as the stuff in this video. Hopefully it won't be another one of those eternal early access games because it actually looks like it has a solid foundation already.
It'll likely remain in Early Access for a good long while. I wouldn't really say "Eternally" as even the Eternal Early Access games did inevitably get a full release. Early Access is just another term for Open Alpha/Open Beta. I did get some pretty hefty Transport Fever/InfraSpace vibes from this game though. So it has promise, as both of those games were very successful.
I created basically conveyor belts of depots with the miners either side, looping back and forth through the Iron. It's not the most efficient thing to do, since the depots are attempting to remain evenly distributed, but once they get stocked up it's awesome. But I like Tom's solution, too, using short truck connections
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1167 OOOO very much enjoying this game, would love to see Tom return to the full game :D Let's go, fuckin love the Bagger 288, fantastic machine OO, I really like the music in this game, just so peaceful and nice, plus those graphics are real nice
Yeah, running away to another planet only works for one of the parties in that situation, and even then I bet there are space lawyers who would make sure he payed for it.
Angory Tom u really need to try a game called Against the Storm. It's a fantastic game that is definitely up your alley and could have enough replayability to be a series. I would be thrilled if u gave it a shot and got as much enjoyment as I do every day out of it
You mean the bagger 288? well I mean its kinda amazing how it can excavate 240,000 tons of coal or 240,000 cubic metres of overburden daily - the equivalent of a soccer field dug to 30 m (98 ft) deep.

According to the steam page, it's set to release on 15 Feb, 2023
So, two days from this comment.
@@LiarraSniffles_X3 OP did state that in their comment, that the release date for Early Access is on the 15th.
Tom: "The Bagger 288 is one of my favorite machines ever made."
Small German village: 🤕
The transport tycoon factorio mashup nobody was expecting.

This looks like a good thing to keep doing once it's more complete!
I wasn't expecting this ta have such exceptionally relaxing music. It's enough to make me desire a Superchill from Space Tom.
This game does look super neat, sounds like it'll be good fun on full release, thanks for showing the game off Tom!
As usual, great editing! Great video!
I appreciate Tom's cosmopolitan attitude about the pronunciation of alumin(i)um. Very froggy chair.
Give us more episodes when the game is out
Wow another early access Mars terraforming game. How original.
Wonder if there's been any planet crafter updates
Devs are saying end of February for updates. So. Soon!
Reminds me of Factory Town, which I played about a hundred hours of, so looking forward to when this releases!
I wonder if tom has ever played infraspace. It's a mix between Factorio and city skylines so to say. Id say he'd enjoy it
This just makes me want to see a Factorio playthru lmao
Like someone else said, this reminds me of when you played Planet Crafter!
This was surprisingly engrossing.
I regret having seen this video. I am going to have to buy this and then put a couple hundred hours into it
Plan A is the Earth, once we fuck it up bad enough, that's when plan B is needed
Really fun to watch! 🙌
Will you play NEW Dwarf Fortress Tom?
Nice, it's like OpenTTD on Mars with added factories
Great video. Fun to watch.
New Lahore? Yes please
*A-Bam!*
B-Bam!
C-Bam!
*D-Bam!*
A-Cam!
Cursed concrete made of sulfur.

Not Plan B: The Morning After. That would be a very different game.

Great video as always.
Mandatory Algorithmic Comment Because We Love Tom and the Editing xx ❤️
I love the editing :)
Oh god please more!
I had the volume pretty low and the not-interstellar music was really messing with my head.
Also, you should just play Dyson sphere simulator.
WOOOOO!
Can't believe Josh missed the opportunity to throw in a Michael Bolton reference every time that Tom mentioned steel bars.
Early access play through? Could be fun… 😏
I want to work for Tom!
Roads? Why not railways and trains?
Great job
It's only silly if it's doesn't work
Plan B... from outer space...
Bela Lugosi's dead.. undead undead undead
*aww I goofed.. it's plan 9*
Why does he know what that thing's called?
You mean the bagger 288? well I mean its kinda amazing how it can excavate 240,000 tons of coal or 240,000 cubic metres of overburden daily - the equivalent of a soccer field dug to 30 m (98 ft) deep.
Because look at it
Huh neat
Aluminium (with an i before the u) is correct; aluminum (with only one i) is "simplified English" (aka American).
Wasn't the bagger 288 the big machine ghost rider possesses in the 2nd movie? Probably the only scene worth watching in that entire movie.
day 5 asking:play forever skies
Hey look I can comment great video before watching the video...I feel so special 🤣 keep the content rolling though always enjoy it
