freaking beautiful. I think this song really represents the kind of ideal we have of relationships. at least the ideal that's plausible. To be with someone and still love them after a long time. of course this film follows a relationship that doesn't work out like many relationships don't, despite the love in the beginning. So I think this song is a real contrast and it's so sad they didn't end up together. "What have on our hands is a dead shark" maybe just a bored shark.
Thank you for putting this montage together. This is one of my top five favorite movies. i’ve seen it countless times. There’s hardly many seconds that go by without it being either funny or insightful.
This film and this rendition of this song is especially meaningful & very, very dear to me. Your assemblage of this montage and your introduction above are absolute perfection. Thank you so very much for sharing this. 'Tis much appreciated.
My favorite Woody Allen film---think it was the funniest in terms of relationship issues. The theme song transports me to when I first viewed the film.
The best thing in Annie Hall is that Annie never got any shitty makeover, but despite of that she got Alvy Singer. Alvy loved Annie for her individuality, that's what I call true love, and the real definition of rom-com. *Yeah, take that Clueless*
You know how you're always trying to get things to come out perfect in art because it's real difficult in life.
Truly never gets old....
I wish I could live in that moment forever and hold it close.

The best partnership in cinematic history
Absolutely! On screen they were perfect together.

Excellent movie..classic actually. Keatons rendition was sweet, meloncholic but not corny in the least like so many other rom-com ditties. Good stuff.
Simply the best.
She is beatiful

Oh Kim...
It hurts...
Carmen Lombardo's composition
pretty pessimistic film you know. funny to say of it "makes me...believe that true love can exist."
@marcolopolis555 it is too fast. so fast it's more than distracting. it destroys it.
