    One thing to note is that Ghostcrawler said he didn't want to do a required subscription but was ok with an optional one. I think forced subs are a huge turnoff for a lot of player. This would be something like ESOs In my opinion ESO has the highest quality subcription in the MMO market. Ghostcrawler mentioned to him this is fine but "can be a slippery slope". This could be something they might need to look into. I don't think it being free to play is bad if they go the ESO/GW2 cosmetic route of it being a one peace skin. A lot of people still really like these skins but transmog can be mixed and matched and whatever else. It gives more value to achievements while giving riot a way to make a profit off the game. I think it would also be ok for mount skins to be sold similar to GW2 if the coolest mounts still come from boss drops. I guess they could do hairstyles and tattoos like ESO? But I think this is only nice to have because if I change my transmog sometimes I need the perfect hairstyle to match. I think I need to mention that haircolors, skin colors, and eye colors and maybe even patterns for our Vastaya friends should not have to be bought. However I think they should have a variety of hairstyles available without paying but I'm ok with later hairstyles being added via a battlepass system or skin of some sort. ESO also has skins that change your characters skin color to look like a astral look with stars and glowing eyes. Some of them are achievements and some of them are in a store. I think riot already knows this of course. These are all just ideas and I'm sure riot knows what is best.

      I agree partially, why? It's a good model in general. But there is really a downside to this also... it can become very fast a random fairy unicorn fest of cosmetics with no real value to them. We all know that fashion wars is the true "endgame" in a lot of MMOs. And in that way it can boost creativity so a big yes for me! The downside is immersion in the world. Having a futuristic project skin in the league universe won't fit, and it will break immersion in my opinion. But I agree, Sub 2 Play js a dying business model.

    Yo. If they gonna make it like gw2 where you can also exchange ingame gold for premium currency that would be cool. In gw2 it requires a lot of grinding to do it, so maybe a good feature. But then bots probably gonna do it too, like it was the case in Lost Ark. I honestly don't know how gw2 does it. Riot's gonna have to put a shit ton of GMs to monitor and REALLY make players not want to purchase gold from gold sellers.

      I totally forgot you can buy gems 💎 with gold 🪙 but yeah it's true! It's a very good system, about gold selling though... I think you can't control that, in the end people will always find ways to sell in game currencies with real life money 💰 or you'll have to eliminate the direct trade option from player to player, or the ability to drop items. And that is also a huge part of the social interaction in a MMO. Though decisions ... 🤔

    I am also a bigger fan of Subscription based MMO's. Back in the day when I was a kid I wouldn't like this but as I'm older it's more likely that I can pay a sub even when I'm not playing full time. If you really enjoy a game a sub fee is nothing.

      Almost 90% of the MMORPG playerbase is in their twenties anyway... So yeah, we can finally afford a sub! :D I totally agree!

      Even though I completely agree with ya, sub is kinda dying, f2p dominates the market

    Cosmetics can work if the weapons, armour or mounts from raid drops, dungeons or events / quests are still really epic to wear it. A cosmetic obtained by paying real money looking cooler then an actual item you farmed for hours or days, is a no go for me!

    • @Zoofus
      @Zoofus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. I hated it when WoW made mounts from the store so cool... Why play the game if you can buy epic looking sh!t!

    • @joystik

      Have you seen the lore items? Necrit has a video about them and there are so many cool items in there that we will get form quests/raids or whatever. Many others will be added.

      @@joystik Yes I did! And yes the different legendaries and region themed weapons are looking really cool. I just hope the cosmetics will be like skins in lol :) let the legendaries & epics be something you see other players wear in town and you think: holy shit I want this!

      I can understand your opinion, for me its a matter of immersion. If I don't see hundreds of players running around with unicorn heads its fine for me :)
