Dragonblight in WoW hits me. I feel I am in a snow-covered forest/wasteland, as the zone also is. To this day still my favorite zone. Hypes me up is something like GW2 Battle of the Brachmaker. Also Darkest Dungeon 2 confession 5 endboss music (Which I also think is used in DD1?). Not an MMO but awesome fight music!

LoR gameplay sucks HS's simple gameplay is just better in comarison

lor has better pve. hearthstone has : easier deck building more insane combos less complicated mechanics , more friendly game for comingback players

Hindsight is 20/20. I spent $1,000 on Hearthstone, lived in Diablo 2 and Starcraft for a decade, Blizzard is dead. All the people that made is great are gone and rightly so. I love LoR and it's honest with the player base. You work hard you get results. Not so with Hearthstone or anything Blizzard related today, Blizzard is a shell of its former self. If you want to spend your weekly salary play Hearthstone, if you want to get twice your effort for a CCG game without having to pay, play LoR. Pre-2005 Blizzard>Riot>Modern Blizzard In Name Only. I grew up with Blizzard, they're dead and everyone that made them the CASH cow they are now left before it was all about the $$$!

The simple answer imo is that wow has a better reputation than lol, and heartstone came out first

Actually, i think there is so much LOR players in indonesia. but, they never even use twitch as a platform for streaming. Even i dont have the app😂 And yeah, i'm playing the game on mobile. The fact is, There is so much mobile players in indonesia than pc players. _Sorry for broken english🙃

I want to try heartstone is this Hard?

I loved Hearthstone for many years but imo Runeterra is SO much better, I struggle to understand why more people haven't left Hearthstone for Runeterra. I wonder what's missing to grab more people?

while runeterra crafting system can really be appreciated in the long term, for people who want to start and jump into the game, it can be pain in the ass. In hs at first you're given 1 meta deck out of your choice, you can also disenchant cards as you like giving the option to switch to any decks in a matter of first week. While runeterra is longterm progression, meaning you will probably won't have fancy stuff on your first week, or even first month. You make one deck, then turns out you don't like it ? well another 2 weeks wasted in a sense and you will need to save up again.

I think You should've mentioned that in LoR a meta deck costs only around 30 - 50 bucks when u would buy every card in it. Also comparing HS twitch viewers with LoR viewers is a bit missleading when over halve of the HS viewers are from Battleground and not the actual Cardgame, but yeah there is sadly now way LoR has more Players then HS .

Because LOR aims itself at proper card players while actually being a trash game that feels awful 6/10 and is designed by people that don't play or know card games. Hearthstone is designed by assholes for assholes and aims itself at assholes and that's why it's successful.

I love LoR & I Appreciate their F2P friendly approach, but I feel like Hearthstone is "Cleaner"... the color choices of the game are clean, there's not too much animation on the board, I'm a F2P hearthstone player since 2014 (It's a miserable experience but I'm managing to live with that), but I wish to move to Runterra when the game suits my taste well enough.

Blizzard's problem is called Bobby Kotick, i swear to god the moment that MOFO enter the company games started to get worse, the first disappointment was Diablo 3, the only reason Star Craft 2 was good was because it was already in the middle of development, ask any game dev from that time, back then everyone wanted to end up working at blizzard, they truly invented new ways to play, and new game mechanics from nothing, unlike Riot who are extremely unoriginal but very good at marketing, what's the future for Blizzard I don't know, every company has it's ups and downs, EA used to be good for example, but later became a punching bag in the industry, top dog one day, eating dirt the next one, I hope that if a new company appears in the scene at least it can gives us something more original hopefully, because Riot games are just lazy.

You can be the most generous game in the world but if your game design sucks then you literally can't stand amongst the greats.

There is definitely more people playing HS than LoR, but I dont understand why. LoR is better in almost every way. The only reason I see why some people like HS more, is the utter randomness of some games. Crazy rng-nonsense, while possible in LoR is much less common. So a casual player who just wants to "press the button" and see what happens (ala Yogg Saron) will enjoy HS more. But the monetization alone makes LoR the clear winner in my book. That it has the more engaging mechanics and competitiveness is just a very nice bonus.

i came to runeterra because hearthstone is just all hyper aggro, otk's, win more cards, and WAY too much mana cheat. i mean rogue has a 4 cost rare or epic that makes your next spell cost 0. i got tired of the devs shoving power creep into the game instead of balancing the overall experience. so i downloaded runeterra and it was the best decision ever. a game that actually rewards you for playing, doesnt have predatory monetization, and has a core gameplay system that makes cheese much harder than in HS. glad i came to visit, now im going to move in. oh also, as great as HS's art is, runeterras artwork is absolutely fckn insane. can we talk about the balestriders art?! OMG one last thing: thank god runeterra doesnt use rng as a crutch. and theres very little board clears. its just more skill based overall

It makes sense to me that we'll have a connection between at least Noxus and Singed in S2 getting set up for the invasion of Ionia in a future season.

I drifted over to Runeterra after Elder Scrolls Legends discontinued support, and I burnt out of MtG's outright greed and disrespect for their customers. Only thing that echoes what TESL brought to the table. 0 interest in Hearthstone just because if I want to deal with predatory pricing I'd just play MtG.

If this game is a rogue light Sylas is the perfect character. He can steal magic and Demacia is covered in petrocite. Every run you find new abilities locked away in different corners of the city

I understand how he feels but his clouded by his own lust for vengeance. Nevertheless, Thresh is still out in Runeterra free from the Shadow Isles after the Ruination event. Not only Garren and Lux, what other heroes who were involved in Sylas' revolution?

I love realism but it is very limiting. Things that are too over the top can be either jarring or difficult to realize in a realistic style, or both. A cartoony style gives more flexibility to go outside the bounds of reality. And that really helps when making an MMO in a setting like Runterra.

this is so fucking awesome. like literally i love league lore and seeing people talk about potential stuff like this in the mmo gets me so excited. i'm a wow nerd but i can't wait to switch wow is getting stale. really hoping this game will be the wow killer i'm looking for.

Interesting bit: In Legends of Runterra, in the Wold Ender Expansion, Riot recognised one of Necrit's buddies in the lore. In most of Kayle's cards, Lorekeeper Skai'en is a prominent voice as a Targonian archivist. This name is a twist on TB Skyen's name. League is slowly but surely thanking the Loremasters that keep/kept their games afloat.

When are they showing season 2 of Arcane

Necrit really got me into the lore of LoL quite a lot ever since his Kindred lore vid came out, I totally enjoyed this dude's optimism, he's also quite funny too.

Unless they suddenly change her lore, Orianna cannot be Singed's daughter, she has a living father2'' named Corin Reveck. According to her biography he still works at a workshop in Zaun. There would make sense if she saved singed or someone important to him, as she saved lots of people after a chemical explosion.

zeri's lore also includes infiltrating and exploding a chembaron's factory, she then meets ekko afterwards. Also, i really hope seraphine is shown communicating with the hextech crystals, i think it would be really cool.

I'd imagine Zac and Twitch could make an appearance even if a background cameo or reference. Also would love to see Ezreal make an appearance and have some time to shine for a portion of an episode, they can then use him to venture out to Demacia and Shurima doing his quests in the lore. We may also see: A pink haired child in the background (seraphine) A crazy purple buff guy (mundo) a purple goat girl (apparently soraka has visited zaun) a fat catfish man (tahm kench) a rat bastard (teemo) a half naked flying woman (janna) a child that seems to effect electricity around her when emotional (zeri)
