Those were the grat years for Janet Jackson, Madonna, Mariah and Whitney. Also for glam rock. Nice year in music. Vogue, Groove is in the Heart and This is the right time my favourite that week
I love these flashbacks you guys do! Last week's September 7, 1985 was excellent. This week's was weaker though. Let's just face it 1990 wasn't that good of a year. While it was very diverse, it felt like the music was just drifting around. The 80's were trying to hold on while the 90's was struggling to break out of the ground. Take another year or two for the 90's to take hold.

Now this is when the charts were good. Songs fell off on their own and didn’t stay on weeks and weeks and have to go recurrent. We had variety because there was talent then. Now the charts are stale because there is focus on the same old artists and there is not enough talent these days. Such a shame to see music go from this to today.

This might be one of the last years where hip-hop does not dominate, only a few hip-hop entries and mainly pop and rock ‘n’ roll. What a great time

Tell me something was Aussie band indecent obsession's only hit in the US. It's my favourite by them
I glad someone remembers it. But why does it sound different? Is this the US mix of it?
Yeah I noticed that it sounds different here, perhaps it was remixed for the US release, sounds like a dance remix
@@stevetici2668 i researched it and it's the 12" remix. The vevo video of tell me something is blocked in my country.
