one of the reasons I love this band is that they don't need any sexual massage, just pure voice, and lyrics in the song to attract ur mind. To modern popular music, hope their way of music will be inherited even when we all get old or pass away

Glad you enjoyed it. Glad it relieved those COVID-19 blues, even if only for a brief time. I'm really missing live music too and it seems here it's still a long way off yet. Just had another group of concerts postponed and cancelled. Of Monsters and Men are a great live band. Definitely should be bigger.

Love it when the audience can keep time and be on pitch! I’ve heard other live sets by other artists and it doesn’t seem as common to be able to.

Thanks. They actually sounded very good in concert. They had a very big hit in Australia a couple of years ago and have quite a following here (and in Ireland). I'm making an effort to see 'new' music (by that I mean bands that weren't around last century). Sometimes I feel I'm stuck in the 80s.

@@Peter_LiveMusic Agreed. I hear they caught a few arsonists who were laughing and joking about it..... very funny indeed. There's loads of bands from the 80/90's doing their obligatory reunions - some of them are best left when we first heard them if you ask me as they probably won't sound the same and shatter the illusion.... lol

I read this morning, "While firebugs remain a legitimate and serious threat, they're responsible for about 1 per cent of the more than 5.2 million hectares that have been burned in NSW this season."
I'm always a little cautious about buying tickets to see bands that were at their height 30 or 40 years ago. Thankfully, TH-cam does provide a good means of hearing what they sound like today. I'm seeing New Order soon. I'm not expecting great things but I also couldn't turn down this chance to see them again.

So many concerts being rescheduled at the moment. I'll be missing a couple I was really looking forward to myself. Hopefully OMAM will make it to Canada as soon as this is all over. Take care.
I'm quite sad that I became a fan of them so soon after they actually came to Australia. Will absolutely be holding out for a future Australian tour once Covid subsides
I'm sure they'll be back. I can't wait until the borders reopen. So many bands I've missed out on or have been waiting two years to see. So frustrating.

Yes, they did but I enjoyed it 'in the moment' rather than record it. It really got the crowd excited.

@@harryhood8840 Thanks. Glad you enjoyed what I did record. Impossible to please all people. Sometimes I'm criticised for recording too much, sometimes for not recording certain songs. I try to get the balance right for myself at the time, enjoying the moment as well as recording for later. I do enjoy recording concerts so I don't feel I'm missing out, but it is a little difficult letting the music take over when you're trying to hold a camera steady.

I super appreciate this because there really isnt that much live of monsters and men. I literally cannot wait for the chance to see this band live.
