  • Carbide tools for the wood lathe are building in popularity thanks to their ease of use and long service life of the insert cutters.
    In this video we use the Easy Wood Tools range of mid-sized chisels to create a simple lidded box on the wood lathe.
    Turned from local Marri and finished in spray lacquer these are a great little project to undertake to improve your turning skills and practice working towards set dimensions for a perfect fit.

    Love the tissue tip! I’d probably cut the excess before spinning it up in the lathe though just in case
