The Ferris wheel scene with Tori & Charlie from book 5 is one of my favorites - so excited it’s gonna be in this season!
I'm definitely going to have to read volume 5 now
OMG, the funfair 🥰😍It is in volume 5. I loved Tori's story in volume 5. In the series I want her and Isaac to interact more and be good friends they are both iconic but in the background a lot.

I haven't read the books yet (love the show), but went to my local library today, and there were six copies of Volume 5 on the shelf that caught my eye... Then a single copy of Volume 1 and nothing else lol. Needless to say, I checked out Volume 1 and am excited to start reading!

Havent read anything #Heartstopper so its ALL new to me as it goes. I came to it late , season 2 came out & the hype around season 1 i watched Havent stopped since EVERY Sunday is Heartstopper Sunday till season 3.
It's fantastic I'm very grateful I got to be in the show but I'm even more grateful it did so well, and now a whole generation will have queer representation for years to come

The big reveal is that the Summer Fete is episode 8 and that Steamy Line says it will end with... (hey I threw in the Mama Mia reference )
One thing I heard is that Season 3 takes more liberties from the novels. Even though it’s Alice writing both.
They aren't prepubescent as that means 'before puberty' and Nick and Charlie are past that :) Nick is 18 months older than Charlie and at this stage Charlie is 16 and Nick nearly 18.
My mistake i used to do the same things with the word penultimate as well. I thought it meant the last episode, but it meant the episode before the last.

My S.O. used to make the same mistake with the word penultimate -- I think it's a common occurrence
are they? Is this a year later than Season 2? Because it was Charlie's 15th birthday in the first season and the beginning of the second season no time has passed since the end of the first season.

There is a time skip.
The fete scene takes place at the end of book 5.
In either book 4 or 5, there is a birthday celebration for Nick, who turns 17 and another birthday celebration for Charlie, who will turn 16.

Oh definitely we should react separately then do a break down together that way we can see what we each miss , no not new office just a nook I've made in my bedroom in the mean time lol , also we can say what we are most looking forward to.
Yes, that fair that they’re talking about does happen in at least the web comic (I don’t know if it’s made it into a book yet). And if it is in episode eight, assuming this season is the same link as the others, it will be near the conclusion of the season. Also, it looks as if Tobie is vlogging in one shot, so we can hope that his behind-the-scenes vlogs from season two will eventually be made available.

Im excited to see how they took that from the books and made it into and show and how they are gonna really show what Charlie goes through
Well we do get a glimpse of the most important question I had for this scene and yes they can be seen in the video when Tori pulled him away
I'm looking Forward to seeing how they are going to handle the retrospects of their respective Journals.

As for specifc scenes, there is one super sad one and one super funny on. in the retrospects after Charlie Had a setback and Cut himself and Nick gets to stay the night to keep an eye on him and Charlie asks Nick to come Up to His bed to cuddle. IT will ne HEARTBREAKING!
Then the scene where Charlie Talks to his Friends about Kisses getting steamy between him and Nick and that IT's akward Afterwards and they're Like...maybe you two are ready for more.
On the one Hand Oktober is still far away and i thought i heard Something about August, But on the Other hand Oktober is fall and IT's DARK earlier again, so perfekt to watch TV 😊

A year or so ago they were saying that season 3 would cover volume 4 (only);
can anyone confirm (from maybe Alice) whether they will include ALL of volume 5 (in addition to volume 4)
I can't remember precisely but Alice made a Tumblr post explaining how many seasons it would take to cover the full story of Nick and Charlie including their novellas about them. So maybe check their Tumblr??

I normally avoid spoilers in shows, but I've read volumes 1-5, plus " This Winter" and "Nick and Charlie.
I already have noticed changes made in seasons 1 and 2. Seeing the changes is fun/interesting.
Now that season 3 is coming, I'm re-watching seasons 1 & 2 (for the gazillionth times) and now re-reading volumes 4 and 5.
That's a rambly way of saying -- go ahead and do the reading. It adds to the enjoyment, imo.
I can't wait!!!! But not ready for what's to come 😭 is October here yet lol. Also Netflix is trying to kill us im still not over young royals and they throw this at us!
