Aubrey; thank you so very much for recording this information. It is sooooo helpful. After watching your video; things make so much more sense to me now. I have not experienced any diarrhea with my episodes only nausea which makes me believe I was experience hypoglycemia instead of dumping. Thanks for the tip also, about eating something with protein with my treat should I decide to have one. That is a great idea for sure. I will definitely speak to my nutritionist at my next appointment. Wishing you a huge loss for next week! Thanks again, Love you girl!!!!

I'm starting the journey for the bybass possibly. I'll let my surgeon make the last call when it comes time. Your right, it doesn't seem like there is a lot of those out there on TH-cam. I recently started fallowing your channel and have watched your videos from beginning to now. Love your personality and videos! You've done great girl 🙂

Really informative video Aubrey! I've luckily only experienced dumping 2x with my sleeve very early on but had the exact symptoms you described plus vomiting/dizziness. Ugh it was horrible! So sorry to hear camping wasn't enjoyable but I wouldn't have felt great under those circumstances either. Martha wrecks havoc on my tummy that week too. Those protein donuts sound awesome and very sweet of your husband to take your dietary desires into consideration on a family excursion ;) that's awesome support! Looking fabulous lady!

Thank you so much for all the information. You are so right about most of the info out there is for sleeves. Since finding out I will need RNY I've noticed I have a more difficult time getting good information. I have even noticed that my team nutritionist is more sleeve inclined.

Thanks for sharing this great information. I haven't had to deal with this yet, I'm VSG but I appreciate hearing information like this because I'm only two weeks post op.

I am just 4 weeks out of my RNY surgery and am terrified of dumping. I am sooooooooo careful with the amount of carbs and sugars I'm eating. 26g carbs in a sitting???? Whow! I've been staying at 5g or less. Like I said, terrified of dumping. Thank you for taking the time to explain Dumping Syndrome

Thanks for such a great explanation!
In terms of general discomfort and certain foods having different effects each time they're eaten - I've noticed for me personally, it has a lot to do with what I eat it with. If I have something more sugary by itself, I feel bleh. But, if I eat some protein first and then have that same sugary something, my stomach will tolerate it.

My "dumping" is not dumping like an RNY person. I find I cannot eat bread or crackers, carbs, etc WITH protein. If I do I am very uncomfortable. That is the only thing that seems to get me. The bread makes me uncomfortable enough though that I rarely eat bread. I don't have the other symptoms though. Your hubby is a sweet guy. Doesn't sound like the best trip physically though. You look great girl! Really! 😘💗😘💗

Great description of dumping. I just uploaded a vlog of my own talking about dumping. I'm not sure I agree with what your nutritionist says as to the how much and why...it's all dumping for my mind.

I went to coffee shop and they didn't give me a sugar free latte and I went into dumping real quick. I have the same symptoms
I drink smoothies and I feel fine.
