How does poison get mixed up with a potion that turns you into a lama? Also why the fuck does she need a potion to turn someone into a lama and other animals? Like what benefit does that bring than just poison? I guess it’s not illegal to turn someone into a lama…
Fun Fact: Not only did Poison have a family removed from Platinum's wild encounters (Stunky -- Skuntank), but it's also the only type that got no new additions from the Dex expansion. So you can find more Poison types in the wild in Diamond than in Platinum. Sinnoh's regional Dex never ceases to amaze me
Sinnoh has the most asinine regional dexes. From the starter being the only new fire type (that isn't a new evolution of an older pokemon) to introducing a bunch of new evolutions to pokemon that aren't available in the regional dex (prior to Platinum) and in Platinum, the two pokemon with new evolutions that were originally kept in got removed.
@@NateLeonhart For real...at least Weavile and Ambipom got to stay. Could've done with another returning Dragon type beside Altaria though. Say what you will about BDSP but at least the Grand Underground gives it the most complete Mon selection for Sinnoh
Whether or not you can get more Poison-types in Diamond might depend on how you handle the Great Marsh. Croagunk is available on the marshy part of Route 212 in Platinum, but not DP. So in DP, you can only find Croagunk in the Great Marsh, which AFAIK is also Skorupi's only habitat, no matter what version you play. I like to handle Safari Zones as one attempt to catch something per section (because it's Pokémon GO but less forgiving), and the Great Marsh technically has six sections, so six encounters. But if you're strict about one per area without exception, you could be down one Poison-type.
Love how every run has many elements, but various ones have more funny/tense/touching moments that keep it fresh and give the runs more individual character
Fun fact: my screenwriting professor was the head writer of Kronk's New Groove, as well as Home on the Range and Mulan II, and there's a reason he's teaching at a local public college today
I'm assuming the rival is "Jeffrey" as in Jeffrey Katzenberg, who worked at Disney while Emperor's New Groove (then Kingdom of the Sun) was in production, left to help found Dreamworks, and may or may not have based The Road to El Dorado (which came out a few months before ENG) on what he might've seen in pre-production.

You know it's a good day when it's Saturday and you're ready for a great nuzlocke video. I have a couple of ideas for you to try flygon. Nuzlocke challenge where every death equals 1 level under the level cap for the remainder of the run and a challenge where you have a limited amount of evolutions throughout the run. So if you limit yourself to 10 evolutions in a run and you want to evolve your starter fully, that leaves you 8 more and you may have to skip encounters that get you a basic pokemon and go for the 2nd stage or final stage on another route. Just some ideas, I'm trying them myself
It would be cool to see a mono type move challenge where your Pokémon can only use one type of move (only poison type moves etc.) especially with immunities. If that’s even possible. Anyway, awesome video as always!
I would love to see a Pokémon Platinum run with the Electric Type. Also Poison is my favorite type and Emporers new groove is one of my favorite movies, is this run was amazing!
Poison types are so underrated. Pure poison types lack a little versatility and aren't super effective against much, but as a secondary type, it pairs well with lots of others. Also, Crobat is a top 5 favorite of mine, and tends to be a staple of almost all my nuzlocke runs because you can typically get him pretty early for a fully evolved mon due to the abundance of Zubats and the friendship evolution of Golbat. And with his speed and a ground immunity, he is very useful. He was also my second ever shiny, and the only one to be on one of my championship teams.
Fun fact: when I was in like elementary school or something I knew budew evolved via friendship, what I didn’t know was that it had to be during the day. Since I went to school all day and didn’t really play platinum until later in the day, that little shit stayed a budew my entire playthrough. I distinctly remember standing in front of victory road looking at my team wondering what I did to make this little shit hate me so much.
Flygon! Great video, good to see you back. I have a few thoughts for video concepts in the future. I think it'd be cool to do restricted nuzlockes not based on type, but other characteristics like Pokedex color, egg group, etc. Also I think hardcore nuzlockes are more challenging and interesting if you match the number of Pokemon used by key opponents!
I've been waiting for this monotype Nuzlocke forever, I think I even suggested it on the Discord server once. So excited bc Platinum has a lot of poison types including one that's dual-typed with my favorite type fighting (Toxicroak, poision/fighting)
Another banger. Really appreciated the follow-through on attempt 2. I assumed you’d just reset again once you couldn’t field a full team, but it all worked out in the end.
