Thanks.. You answered all the questions in my mind. Recently I became a vegetarian and I feel so great. My mind is also not cluttered any more. So much peace. Thanks again for the enlightenment..

Great advice on three fronts: going vegetarian will improve our health, will repair our polluted planet, and most importantly will glorify Hashem as He sees us return to His original plan as set forth in Genesis 1:29 and reiterated in Isaiah 11 (speaking about the end days).

With recent research showing that meat is one of the healthiest foods, and better for the environment, would this change? Or is there still an ideal way of living?

I've always thought, from reading Genesis 9, that part of the law stated, was that you weren't suppose to eat the blood of the animal as well. Can someone clarify?

I liked it, it was really instructive. At the beginning of his speech, he said that according to a rabbi, eating is potentially one of the highest spiritual activities, when our minds are engaged. There is a spiritual master named Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov who teaches exactly the same thing. He says that by eating, we can be in communion with God ; if we eat our food with love and gratitude, if we are concentrated when eating, then we can be united with God. There is one of his books that deal only with this subject and the name of the book is HRANI YOGA, THE ALCHEMICAL AND MAGICAL MEANING OF NUTRITION. He is really a great spiritual master, and he taught a lot about kabbalah, bible, spiritual life, individual transformation.
