the thing what I love about these witches was they were very versatile with there magic. that's how witches should be. when I think of the charmed ones they were such one trick ponys. but these witches are beast at battle magic and combat spells. the writers didn't give then all these limitations they showed them how strong witches can really be.
I agree, but I also think that it had a lot to do with the writing. We see that each witch of this family does still have a "gift"; Freya has visions, Ingrid's a master spell-caster, Wendy can shapeshift, and Joanna is all-knowing. Sure, they don't have individual abilities, but I think that if the writers of Charmed wanted to, they could've created a versatile magic system that still gave each sister a unique gift.
I like how wendy tells Joanna that she won't do any magic with her daughters & wendy helps ingrid & freya how to control their powers & when told Tommy that she's a witch she's shows him a few magic tricks & Joanna ingrid freya & wendy use their powers to kill king Nikolaus & wendy was really sweet & kind when she decides to give up her last life for Tommy so he can be there for his daughter if i were in Wendy's shoes i would have done the same thing

this show is literally so underrated, i‘d kill to just have one more episode which would clear all the cliffhangers.
