I’ve been waiting for this to come out! This is my next project. I used your down pipe video and it made it a hell of a lot easier. Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos!

Great Video, here is one thing I found that may not be known, this swap was done on an automatic car, if you have a manual, the hot pipe bracket is totally different, I ended up just removing the bracket completely as it made it difficult to install the pipe initially, after struggling a bit I reached out to Daniel at N75 about the hot pipe fitment, come to find out the compressor housing was not in the correct position and I needed to loosen the band and adjust (Thanks Daniel !!!) i ended up rotating the compressor housing about 25 degrees till the hot pipe lined up and was able to be tightly secured

I own a 2020 Veloster N that's almost paid off. I've been considering upgrading it with a bigger turbo, like one from N75 Website, or trading the car for a 2024 Elantra N with an already upgraded turbo. However, your video has encouraged me to keep my car, given its nearly paid-off status.

@@miguelguanche3142 A paid off car is definitely nice! My wife likes her Veloster N over the 24 Elantra N. I’m curious to run my Elantra vs my wife’s Veloster after she gets the car fully tuned.

Also. Could you share why you chose the Elantra OEM turbo upgrade over the HT350 or HT400, aside from the higher cost? My thinking is that if the job is equally difficult, why not install the kit that offers maximum gains, like over 400whp (future proof), and a more reliable turbo? Was it due to long-term engine reliability concerns?

@@miguelguanche3142 When speaking with Daniel at N75 this was his recommendation based on what we wanted out of the car and with the amount of money we wanted to invest vs how much power we wanted.

Damn, I just dropped subframe and came in from the bottom. I was on jack stands as well. Just removed Intake, DP, Exhaust, rims and tires. Coolant lines and oil lines of course. Changes oil and added fresh coolant. New hot pipe and all brass washers and gaskets. Dialed in WASTEGATE voltage, and she ready to go.
This seems a lot more involved, glad you got it done though 😎👌

@@UN3ARTH I’m glad you were able to go that route without a lift. I didn’t trust the car on just jack stands for this install. Especially, since I wouldn’t be completing it in just a single weekend, due to all the other things I had to do and parts I had to order. It is good to hear it is possible to go that route without a lift.

@nprform so I brought my turbo to a machine shop. The person drilled and tapped out the stud that was snapped inside the turbo. Then he cleaned up the rest of the holes. So tmrw I'm gonna be going to try and install it along side putting in my downpipe. Putting in the downpipe fits when you put all ur studs inside the turbo before u get it into the engine bay right?
