Hello Mr. Yoder, I am 15 years old and have been wood turning for about a year now. You are hands down the best woodworker on TH-cam, your videos are so easy to follow and I love our work! Also, I will definitely be ordering an Elbo hollowing jig from you soon!! Have fun turning!!
I absolutely love you Tim! I've always had a passion for wood, and wood turning. when I saw you for the fist time it inspired me to be a carpenter when I'm older.
Thanks but I can't take credit for that one. That is made by Ron Brown's Best. It's a nice little system and it works on a lot of different hollowing tools.
That was a really neat project, I loved your enthusiasm and humor! I also appreciate that you explain everything you do - it helps newbies learn quickly.
Mr. Yoder. I am using my wife's account. This is a little info that I think would be very useful for anyone that is planning on on the laces of the football. I know about not having the room for the needle. I had worked with leather to make custom holsters I made them for 15 years until arthritis got my hands and elbows. Cut the lace at a shape angle and leave the top grain for strength. It will act like a small needle and you will be able to get it through the hole alot easier. Thank you for the great videos and I hope this will help you some. Rocking J Leather
I just made a full size one. You can buy two yards of white leather to use as laces for $3 at Hobby Lobby. Everybody at the office is jealous of my new candy bowl.
Wanting to get into this hobby/craft. Been scrolling through and watching all your videos the past week. Hopefully next spring time I can start getting myself set up and going!
Tim what is the maximum RPM's you need to make these footballs. I want to try. You make it look so easy . But I know I have a long way to go. You have Awesome skills that I've never seen before. I want to make one for my boss. Can I start out with a small wood lathe ?
Hi, My name is Allan and I live in Brazil and I´m Mechanic of the Aircraft ( Executive Jets ) How are you? Your project is amazing, beautiful I don´t have words. Congratulations.
I enjoyed your video a lot and as for the football, if you hadn't told me I wouldn't have known that it wasn't the full size. How does one get in touch with Beads Of Courage, I have never heard of them. Thanks for sharing. God Bless my friend.
just started watching your show have been carving and doing pyrographic arts for a few years now but would like to expanded into turning bowls and vases. what my question is what lathe would you recommend for beginner that's not going to break the bank? been looking at nova & rikon but i know you get what you pay for. thanks for your time-William Blakely
obviously I am partial to robust but if you want to start under $1,000 look at the Jet mini lathe with variable speed. under 2K you have more options like Nova and Jet ect.
It's probably that they don't like the fact that Tim, doesn't wear any personal protection equipment. I know why he doesn't, but, I don't agree with it. For instance, while roughing out the blank, there was no reason he could not wear the face shield. Personally, I gave the video a thumbs up.

It came out really nice! That hollowing arm is an awesome tool!
very cool looking box . happy turning .
That laser guided tool thing you've invented is pretty clever. Nice job.

Yes! Tim is back! I want to see a couple Christmas items turned!
Great video Tim, clear and instructional. Cheers, Jim
