You were lucky dear, but you should have not suffer so much trauma. The point of life is harmony. We are meant to be balanced organism and the universe is all balance. That is the truth. All the battle, suffering, all that seems to surround us is just mirage created by people that seek control of something that cannot be controlled. They suffer greatly, but also create suffering for others.
Came from a really broken home and this song seriously made me start bawling when I heard it. Thanks for the album The Midnight.

is it me or do the synth sounds sound a little more paired back and akin to the old synthesizers from the 80s? but the production is still absolutely top notch. Also getting a bit of a Dance with the Dead vibe from the choice of tones too. Probs my favorite track from this new EP so far

As a complex trauma survivor, this song means more to me than The Midnight can ever know (or maybe they do know thus they could create this!!). Made a sword from all the pain, paint the town red, kill those demons that still follow me around ... unbelievable imagery. If this is not an anthem for (and an ode to) trauma survivors then I don't know what is. I love you!!!

I just found this song and band on discover weekly and instantly fell in love. This song quickly took over as my book character's theme song and I can't stop playing it on repeat. All of horror show is perfect for my 80's horror loving soul and I appreciate y'all for creating it.

The point is that darkness in us needs to be acknowledged, and handled. The pain is part of life and contributes to us getting better as humans. Finally death is part of life, so no need to panically fear it.
