    Hi Colin, in one of your recent videos you downplayed using 'Blur' or 'Blur More' but I really like using those and changing the blend mode to Lighten if I have water drops or splashes. It enhances them just enough.

    • @photoshopcafe
      @photoshopcafe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Everything has its place in Photoshop :) And you have to look at the the context I downplayed them, as the general goto blur and sharpen (It was also sharpen, vs unsharp mask that we were taking about.)

    Hello Colin, I've been lurking in shadows for quite some time but now I've got a question. You came real close to answering my question in this video; I just need a few more details. In my work as a real estate photographer, I take spherical 360 photos of homes (using a Ricoh Theta V). Those jpg format photos require special hosting to view them properly SO I want to turn those files into automatically rotating (animated) movie files in photoshop. How do I do that?? Many thanks, Jim

    Super helpful! I have a question, I am trying to animate a little ladybug flying an irregular path around a character. However, Photoshop won't let me rotate the object via transformation when I animate it. Is there a way to animate an object moving along a path while changing the orientation of the object so the ladybug is always facing forwards?

  • @ksudom

    I appreciate your step by step approach. As you set up the animation the ball was between the word and the lines(11:19). After it was rendered it the ball was behind both the word and the lines (13:48). Is this a rendering issue or is something else going on?

    • @photoshopcafe
      @photoshopcafe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sharp eye. No, I changed it, but left those steps out, as it just added time to the tutorial, without providing enough learning to make it worthwhile keeping the extra 5 minutes, I often trim these tuts to the meat and toss the filler.

    Colin, thanks for this tutorial, know we have talked about this on the *Thursday Livestream from Lockdown* a bit.
    Really useful and this is going to help a lot of people out here get in to the animation side of Photoshop, as way back when I used the timeline to make gif's.
    Thanks Colin as I said above this is going to be very useful, and like 3D in Photoshop, many people do not even use this timeline feature in Photoshop.

    Its stuttery because photoshop is rendering each frame and some take a fraction of a second longer than others. Run it through the first time and then run it through again and it will always be smooth motion. lol
