The story tells the story of Nie Mingjue, the elder brother, and Nie Huaisang, his younger brother, working together to protect their family. They are quite opposite where Nie Mingjue dislikes his younger brother’s timidity, while Nie Huaisang thinks his older brother’s a tyrant. Although they have strong opinions of each other, Nie Mingjue tries to sacrifice himself to save Nie Huaisang, and Nie Huaisang never abandons his brother in the face of danger. These life or death hardships helped them reconcile and realize their personalities complement each other’s shortcomings. Eventually Nie Mingjue became more empathetic and Nie Huaisang grew out of his timidity. Together, they overcame challenges, and led their people to peace.

It finally makes sense as to why he did that in the untamed . He educated his revenge in the most unbelievable way. He’s smart and cute 😂
This was needed so that we can see just how Nie-like Huaisang is WITHOUT his deep connection to his sabre like the rest of his family and ancestors. He was brutal & methodical with his revenge for the death of his brother

Thanks to huisangs love for his brother.. We got wei wuxian back. We got lanzhans happiness and we got to see wen ning be a dope "corpse" and oggle lan xichen .... Still can't believe that dude & Nie minjue, were single.
But i would loove to attend a party hosted by meng yao. He was a hell of a planner & host.

A continuation of this spin-off would be even better showing how Mo X got kicked out of Jin residence (with all his discovered info). crazy as he was & he teaming-up with Nie Huaisan. And all the bts stuff that Nie H did to expose Meng Yao. The finale to this sequel spin-off could be the moment they resurrect WWX. And obviously we would have cameos
Ooooo I love that!!! But I also want to have a movie about jiang cheng, we need to give the purple grape some love! I would love to either see some of the events from his perspective or how he rebuilt the jiang clan and Ofc some baby a-ling and jiu jiu moments

Right, in the main drama we never how Nie Huaishang come to understand that Lianfangzun is the main culprit and he already aim at him since the beginning of the drama/novel where he released Nie Mingjue's Arm, so in this movie we can understand how Huaishang finally realized Lianfangzun's ill intent, that the novel never described.

I'm so emotional over how much they cared about each other. Nie Mingjue was a really good brother who didn't quite get Huaisang's passions, but loved and protected him anyways. And Huaisang really became a mastermind to avenge his brother's death.
Nie huaisang finding out Meng yao's plot is one of the best thing that needed to explained and it was explained masterfully. Nie mingjue and nie huaisang's brotherhood was so beautifully shown. Love it. TYSM 💞

I loved the story of Nie Mingjue and Nie Huaisang and their brotherly love which was tested, and how they saved each other. When his older brother died he was sad, but the look on his face after he saw the truth of what Jin Guangyao did to his brother, wow, if looks could kill. Now I understand why he hated Jin Guangyao and plotted his secret revenge for his brother! Excellent acting, action, and suspense! ❣💚👍😍
Yup, he started and knew everything that happened, so he secretly bring Wei Wuxian into the situation of all this because he wanted revenge for his brother. Started with bringing Wei Wuxian's soul to Mo Xuanyu's body.

This ending kinda make it more deliberate that nie huaisang would trick lan xichen to be the one to play a part in Jin guangyao’s death, since he tricked nie huaisang (nie mingjue’s brother and most important person) into playing a part in his brother’s death it’s only fair that nie huaisang tricks Jin guangyao’s sworn brother/most important person to play a part in his death as part of his revenge.
I also kinda think he set up how wwx came back a lot more, he knew wwx wasn’t all that ppl said he was that he wouldn’t want to kill and that he created the spirit flags, and the the Mo family were monsters and would be without protection and likely to be possessed more so than anyone else. Wwx would most def not be hurt and the lan juniors would be protected and then after the Mo fam died, fresh fierce corpses ready to be used all without wwx to having to do something he knew he wouldn’t want to do. Cuz he grew up with him and knew him and how he acts at the burial mound shows he trust wwx and encourages others to trust too. It just goes together that he would plan it down to a T. Every little thing including all ways they may react and planning for every possibility.
Woah that makes sense. So wait was wwx the masked hermit dude staying at the house? I'm still confused over that part and how he managed to come back from death in the beginning.
@@sleepytan0730 he came back from death because Mo Xuanyu used a spell that certain spirit got summoned, which is wwx spirit... and mo xuanyu used curses so that wwx can use his body freely... that's why zidian (weapon used by jiang cheng, left by his mother... idk if it's the right name) can't separate wwx soul from xuanyu's body in the beginning of the untamed series

Yes. And he planted the very idea of revenge in mo xuanyu,and who exactly would be the perfect vessel to avange him. Huisangs is dope.
Huaisung is definitely a mastermind and a genius, but I really wish he hadn't made Xichen the one to kill Guangyao. It was definitely to hit Guangyao where it hurt, but also traumatized Xichen T_T
I love the world of the Untamed. I could very happily sit and watch just about any group of characters go through whatever the authors want to put them through. The world is so rich and, honestly, has so much more to offer I am sure.
Finally, I knew why Huaisang was so mad at Jin Guangyao. Super great acting skills. I badly miss The Untamed because of this🥺❤Thank you

So this is the background story of nie huaisng's haterd.. so thats why he made zewu jun kill jin guangyao to avenge nie mingjue.... Now its crystal clear... Before that i was so confused and thinking that why he plotted jin guangyao ... Anyway... It was amazing

Why it's so heartbreaking to watch 😣 this damn movie really made me cry so hard. Big brother was the asset of entire Nie clan,and his people, they're too pure in loyalty, he deserve them, they deserve him but still Nie clan lost all of them,

This puts an unanswered question away. Untamed didn't solve all the questions but this helped understand this family better. And why he did what he did later.

It makes sense why Huaisang plotted the revenge in a way that Xichen kills Guangyao. Even though he didn't know, Huaisang also played the Cleansing music that caused his brother's death. He wanted Guangyao to know what it feels like to be killed by someone he cares for. I knew he had something behind the innocent face since day one.

Just finished Wen Ning's side story, hopefully I see Meng dead again. I have never hated series vilian as much as I did this guy
To be honest, I really like Jin Guangyao/Meng Yao's character and actor because he is mysterious and many hidden sides in him. His actor played this character so well that it made people, including myself, hating the character. He was new in this series, but he portrayed very well like a veteran. I give props to the directors who directs each and every actors so good.

You know when I was reading the reviews before watching this, I didn't understand why people said the movie was 2/10 but the end was 10/10, but omfg oh god oh god the ending-
...ngl, the movie was great primarily bcs of the untamed lore if im being honest, because the pacing and dialogue, and especially the use of flashbacks didn't match up to the original show. still, i would have liked it and gave it a pretty good review for the lore and some scenes.
But oh. my. god. the ending!!! im in love, i was squealing at the final scene like an insane pig or smth lol- it just blew my mind, the entire thing from nmj killing zonghui and the others omfg. aaaaaa 100/10!!!
