This was awesome! I loved watching Wen Ning being a leader and Lan Sizhui fighting side by side! I was hoping to see Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan. Even hearing Wen Ning mention Wei Wuxian; "Master Wei is right, maybe spend less time on studying your family rules" made me happy, and when I saw his back image and "Wuji" playing it made me miss Wei Wuxian, Lan Zhan, and "The Untamed" and even though I watched it countless times I can't get enough of them! Really great acting, action, and suspense! ❣💚👍😍
I really wanted to see them even for one second, it would make me the happiest.The movie is great I loved to see Wen Ning i like his character and cute Lan Sizhui 😌💯

I’m so glad that Wen Ning got to showcase his intelligence and that he got a powers upgrade/unlocked their full potential. Plus, it’s always so sweet to see Shizui/Yuan. Plus Wen Ning always correcting him to call him brother was too cute.

So, it’s likely that he first instincts from when he was human kicked in- which is to run- but then he remembers that he’s immortal/undead and far more powerful than he was alive, so that’s when he’s no longer afraid.
IKR... that was the first thing i notice when his nephew found him was how he spoke, knowledge and the chain weapon so fluently in all parts of this movie.

My heart melted a million times when I heard wuji and saw the image of Wei wuxian 😍❤️❤️❤️... I've rewatched that scene countless times.... It's sending me back to the untamed

My God I literally screamed through out this movie. It's so epic. I've always loved Wen Ning so this is glorious. The appearance of Wei Wuxian and his words touched me. I'm so thrilled I'm disturbing my husband without even being aware I'm screaming. God this thrilled me more than untamed itself
I love the both of you Wen Ning and Sizhui specially that how Wie Wuxian guided Wen Ning when he is in the dark and to remind him that he is not a puppet but a deserving person to be loved❤️
It is so wonderful to see Wen Ning again. He was/ is definitely one of my favorite actors of the untamed and I missed him. The movie could have been longer I wouldn’t have complained. I wished there would be an entire serial starring him. I’m sure there is enough audience who would follow, so please make that happen!
I felt like he is not actually "Xio zhan " who played "wei wuxian " , but a different actor wearing same clothes, the voice felt different, they only showed us his back , If it's the same actor , they would've shown us his face at least! 😂😂 still good scene !
The part that Weiying encouragement is so heart touching... I wish atleast in some part Lanzan and Weiying appear... But I love seeing sizun and weining... Sizun never stop calling him uncle 😆
Nice to see these two being the stars. Kind of like when Wen Ning said we are going on our own to rebuild the monument to our ancestors. WWX and LZ are such powerful personalities, I'll just rewatch shorts and the series, etc.
Wei does, in the second part of Ghost general in chains, watch the guys face, it changes into his. It's his voice telling GG that he deserves love, etc.
Ning was always my favorite character in the untamed series. Seeing him now when he’s grown so much is gratifying. He’s so incredibly intelligent. He sees things differently than others which helps him understand what is going on. Understands the evil in people, but still retains his pure heart. Yuan is so sweet and being with his brother is a blessing. He’s learning so much more from him than just family rules 😝 1:20:15 Enjoyed his and yuans side story movie immensely. 😻
You know what I love about Wen Ning and Lan Sizhui’s relationship aside from Uncle and Nephew? Is that they also act like brothers. Lan Sizhui is very innocently blunt, always implying how old Wen Ning is 😂. It’s their whole dynamic together in this whole thing that entertains me. Lan Sizhui DEFINITELY got his bluntness from Lan Zhan, but the innocent jabbing to how old Wen Ning is and the awkward “ah…” is from Wei Ying HAHAHAHAHA
I'm so happy for the spin off. Two main side characters who are also a very important part of the drama have given a chance to have a story of their own. But I wish they had mentioned a little about the whereabouts of the two brothers.
The fact that wen Ning now thinks like wei wuxian healed me for real 😊 I always knew there will be a gain of following wei wuxian for that long 🥺 I love wen ning most from the untamed till the spin off
This was great. You can see that the guy who plays Wen Ning lost weight in his face. He looks really good. Plus it was nice that they are keeping him with Shizui/Yuan. Need more of these untold stories of over characters in The Untamed.
This was EPIC!!!! Wen Ning is awesome!! His previous chains made into his weapon, the timely homour with the serious face, dude, it was so INCREDIBLE!! I thought Wei Wuxian's cameo (with that ost) took my heartbeat but the sudden electric guitar bgm for Wen Ning's fight scene took away my soul!! Like all this while, it was the zither for everyone and Wen Ning gets all rock!! *chef's kiss* A very big thank you for the makers of this movie..you guys healed my emptiness after completing The Untamed series.....Love you all~

In the original novel, Wen Ning was a boy who *stammers* but what I noticed here is that he speaks comfortably without difficulties. This spin-off was great, I love it.
No. The novel explains the change in Wen Ning's attitude, from speaking haltingly, to being slower and more certain after becoming a ghost general. The author does not miss a single explanation.
i love that they put effort in this spinoff for wen ning! he was such a wonderful thought-out character, i cried for his story during the drama and im happy that wuxian lets wen ning live his own life/keeping him positive ;; n wuxian appearing for a moment aww i would watch this if made into drama series

The Untamed (Mo Dao Zu Shi) merece una contunuación, es de las pocas historias que me atraparon por completo, libro, serie, manhua, el chibi series, sus ost son simplemente perfectos! @@ar1999a I'm right there with you. I watch The Untamed on Netflix all the time. Someone needs to start a petition and send it to the company asking for more Untamed. Maybe a prequel, with some of cast that died in the drama, also another sequel with our boys in it. They messed up when they didn't get actors to sign immediately for more Untamed productions. Did you know last year in a fan contest for the best Chinses drama of the year. Untamed actually won ( even though it was done years ago) that alone should of caught the attention of the company. But there was also the Chinese gov crackdown on bl series, and making men less "sissy" for a while. I mean we still are waiting for Zhean from WOH to be able to go back to work after all the hate and drama against him. So it's best to be careful. B4 they go after ZZ and the other actor as well.

Wen Ning and Lan Sizhu as inverstigators of a haunting of a complete village is a great adition to the Wuji-canon. I really like Wen Nung as a character very much.Thank you for that.

General Wen has alway been one of my favorite character in The Untamed, and love seeing the dynamic between him and the kids. I think his character is the saddest one.
no one can ever break the loyalty wen ning has for wei ying..no one can ever break their bond..wen ning will never turn against wei wuxian..anyone who think that they can drive a wedge between the two is highly mistaken..the bond wei ying shares with lan zhan and with wen ning, both are unbrekeable,,that's how much strong their bond is..the trust they share..

It's Wen Nings theam song. Did you know that Yu Bin also did the dubbing( voice) in the movie? Wei's voice is different in Untamed and in the Wolf? But Yu took classes and got to use his real voice in both movies. He is so talented. His singing voice is truly bueatiful Right now my favorite song of his is You. I can listen to it over and over.
I watched this full last year on IQIYI and now finally added on TH-cam.. an unforgettable Ghost General acting of Yu Bin and of course Zheng Fanxing ❣️ but I still want to see Wei Wuxian's face and not back😂❤️

I'm so happy for the spin off. Two main side characters who are also a very important part of the drama have given a chance to have a story of their own. But I wish they had mentioned a little about the whereabouts of the two brothers.
The untamed series is such an unforgettable masterpiece drama ,we wish that there is season 2 as well.

This was great. You can see that the guy who plays Wen Ning lost weight in his face. He looks really good. Plus it was nice that they are keeping him with Shizui/Yuan. Need more of these untold stories of over characters in The Untamed.

In the original novel, Wen Ning was a boy who *stammers* but what I noticed here is that he speaks comfortably without difficulties. This spin-off was great, I love it.
No. The novel explains the change in Wen Ning's attitude, from speaking haltingly, to being slower and more certain after becoming a ghost general. The author does not miss a single explanation.

@@ar1999a I'm right there with you. I watch The Untamed on Netflix all the time. Someone needs to start a petition and send it to the company asking for more Untamed. Maybe a prequel, with some of cast that died in the drama, also another sequel with our boys in it. They messed up when they didn't get actors to sign immediately for more Untamed productions.
Did you know last year in a fan contest for the best Chinses drama of the year. Untamed actually won ( even though it was done years ago) that alone should of caught the attention of the company. But there was also the Chinese gov crackdown on bl series, and making men less "sissy" for a while. I mean we still are waiting for Zhean from WOH to be able to go back to work after all the hate and drama against him. So it's best to be careful. B4 they go after ZZ and the other actor as well.

Sizhui and wen Ning both work together they want know what happen in the past so at the end they got tricked by prince Xiao so Lan Sizhui his uncle and him found out what happen and told Prince Xiao he l the prince from Xiao's family.the end was so sad 😢😢😢😢💔💔

General Wen has alway been one of my favorite character in The Untamed, and love seeing the dynamic between him and the kids. I think his character is the saddest one.

Yeah... luckily this one appeared in my feed. OM gosh, I am so pleased to see this. Nothing, for me at least, has beaten the Untamed. I felt so strongly for the characters and so pleased that the spin offs are a continuation of Wen Ning and Lan Sizhui story. I really hope to see more (or is that just greedy? 😂). UK fanbase

It's Wen Nings theam song. Did you know that Yu Bin also did the dubbing( voice) in the movie? Wei's voice is different in Untamed and in the Wolf? But Yu took classes and got to use his real voice in both movies. He is so talented.
