Kenyan citizens today took to the streets to protest the proposed financial bill 2024 which they term as punitive and oppressive in the current economic situation. The protest was organized on social media platforms, that is twitter and TikTok where many young people shared the repercussions that citizens will face if the bill is passed. What is sovereignty of the people? Will millennials and Gen Z transform Kenya?
