This video is still our favorite, thank you so much for taking the time that day to walk with us to our Jeep Moonshine and signing her dash. Can’t wait until we meet again so you all can sign our newest member of the family, Bandit.
@ Kelly pw you need to do a review of the wagon! I'm going back and forth between a power wagon and a rebel. Nervous the PW would have a hard time on narrow forest roads
Even though I'm personally not a big fan of bed caps, your rig is still one of the best looking Gladiators out there. Your's, Matt's and Tony's are definitely my favorites I've seen.
I’ll be moving close to the Mark Twain National Forest area soon and am curious about the dispersed camping rules. Can I just pull off of the side of the trail and camp for the night? I have a minivan camper, so I’d avoid some of the trails you encounter here. But, have found a great spot to camp out there.
Yes, dispersed camping is allowed. Always check the website for the National Forest Service you are going to for updates and changes and where dispersed camping is allowed.
It was great to meet you guys at Moore. I was supposed to camp in the Mark Twain National Forest over the weekend, but the 35mph wind Thursday night changed that.
Dang it. Now you got me hitting pause and going into the kitchen to make some popcorn. 😀 with a little practice Kelly you’ll get it. Deb yours looked perfect.
When we left the Moore Expo on Saturday, we went to the same area. Not that I would ever recommend that anyone drive that fast on a gravel road, but I heard that in a Mojave, that spot at 1:38 in your video, is really fun and smooth at 45mph or better, a couple of times at least. ;-)
Amazing video and drone footage. Absolutely loved the drone up and around the fire tower! I’m only a couple hours south of the MO line in AR so I will be on the lookout for those county roads. Loved it and keep em coming y’all!
Loved this video. I think this is just west of my neck of the woods. I'm an hour east of Rolla. I just emailed you about getting a gps file for this route. At least I think I did....
We are coming down for the Moore Expo this year and are not super familiar with the area. We plan on doing a few days in the MTNF. Would love to know what routes these are if you guys are open to sharing. Awesome video!
Just when I was thinking that you might as well stay in that creek as much as you were crossing it, dang if you didn't just drive down the middle of it. Those folks in Mo got a strange definition of a road.
Excuse the inexperienced, but when you put up a rooftop tent In the rain and wet does the wet material saturate and intrude onto the mattress? I am interested in one and this has always been a ? Of mine.
Hi there guys, great video! I’m a Missouri resident up near St. Louis. Would you be willing to share the route you guys took? I’d like to get my dad out on some scenic trails like that.
@@CoddiwompleOverland thank you so much, I do appreciate you taking the time to reply. Us two wheel drive people don’t have many options. One day I will have something four wheel drive.
Excellent. That drone crash though! Would you be willing to send me the trail gps files if you kept them? This is fairly close to me and I’ve not been to very many of those roads…
@@CoddiwompleOverland Thanks anytime you're planning a trip that brings you along hwy 60 in Missouri send me a message on Instagram (same handle as TH-cam). It wouldn't bother me at all to show you some of my favorite areas
Your videos inspired me to buy a Wrangler, explore, and make my own Overlanding videos! I learned about the Kentucky Adventure Tour from your channel and did part of the trail as my first trip. Then a friend and I drove my daily driver to Moab and rented a Wrangler out there for Easter Jeep Safari. So far I’m having a ton of fun! Thanks for the inspiration! I’m planning on attending the event sponsored by Dan Cummins this year and hopefully bringing a couple friends along. Any advice on some essentials I should have? Also, I’d be honored if you’d check out the couple videos I’ve made so far. They’re not very good yet but I’ll keep trying. Can’t wait to see more content from you guys, have fun out there!

@@CoddiwompleOverland lol, I was sticking up for you, hahaha. It looks like y'all had fun regardless. This is an epic trip. Really giving me the hankering to go to the Appalachians again.
