    As a previous Qstoves+ user, I have to say I'm impressed with the switch to Asmoke. The precision temperature control and the smart design have made grilling easier and more enjoyable. I particularly appreciate the ASCA™ technology that not only improves cooking results but also simplifies the cleaning process. The portability of the Asmoke Essential is a game-changer, allowing me to take my grilling adventures beyond my backyard. It's also great to see how Asmoke is committed to sustainability with the use of wood pellets as fuel, reducing waste and adding a unique flavor to the food. I'm excited for my future grilling sessions with Asmoke! #Asmoke

    I absolutely LOVE my new grill. I received it on time and was undamaged th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . It was very easy to put together. I did it in less than 2 hours. However, there is one picture wrong in the instructions, but I had read the previous reviews before I bought this and knew what to expect. My last girl was a Charbroil grill and my friend and I did it together and it took us about 3 hours to do that one. I didn't want to write this review before I used it and I have only used it once but it was great. The thermometer worked perfectly, the grill ignited immediately (however, I will warn you in the instructions it does state to turn the knob slowly too high to ignite and you do need to turn it SLOWLY. If you turn it too fast it doesn't ignite). I will say the Cuisinart grill is a better made grill than my Char Broil was. And, my fiance loves the fact that it has a bottle opener on it. You definitely get your money's worth on this purchase. Plus, once you receive your grill, Cuisinart will send you a flier stating they will send you a free gift if you will post a review. Good or bad. They truly want to know how you like your grill. My gift shows I will receive a grill scraper, which I will definitely be able to use. Thank you Cuisinart!!

    Great review on a nice pellet grill. Earlier versions had grease fires and bridging pellets. Weber is making some great pellet grills these days.

    Nice job! I’ve had a Smokefire for a couple years now and it’s my favorite grill that I own to cook on. As you said it actually grills plus puts more smoke on the meat than any other pellet grill I’ve used. It also heats up quicker. I’ve had zero issues with mine and use quite often. The pellet hopper isn’t the best design they should move it to the front and use the lid as a shelf it would be easier to check and add pellets there plus it wouldn’t get all greasy from the exhaust.

    I've been a longtime Qstoves+ user but recently made the switch to Asmoke and I'm genuinely impressed. One of the main reasons I prefer Asmoke over Qstoves is the level of control I have over the cooking process. The digital controller allows me to set and maintain my desired cooking temperature with precision, which was something I struggled with using Qstoves. The different flavors of wood pellets available have also added a whole new dimension to my grilling experience. I've particularly enjoyed the distinct smoky flavor imparted by the pellets. The Asmoke Essential is not only lighter and smaller, but also provides remote temperature adjustment and food temperature monitoring via the app. This has made grilling much more convenient for me. I'm excited to continue exploring more features and flavors with Asmoke. #Asmoke

    Nice review Jeff. I agree with you on the probe port and hopper. I like the rear design in theory but hate filling it in reality. The probes should have longer wires as well, they seem short. Other than that, I've had my EX6 for 2 summers now and have had nothing but good to great cooks. BTW, I also notice the dryness of the proteins on it when I use the lower grate. I bought an aftermarket custom top grate and have been smoking everything on that. It seems to have helped with that as it is further from the heat source. Wish Weber made a useable top shelf from the get go.

    • @DeadBrokeBBQ
      @DeadBrokeBBQ ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Heck ya Troy!!! I wish I got that same setup as you so I could have tested it out! I certainly feel if you are smoking in this pit you need to add more moisture. Ya the hopper just really needs to be wider and that would make it bigger to help with an overnight cook! With the log jams I would worry about this pit still running out of pellets overnight. But the grilling I did on it was a lot of fun for sure! Thanks for watching Troy!!

    I switched to the Smokefire from a Rectec and holy smokes. My BBQ increased and versatility is amazing. This thing puts a smoke ring on meat like a stick burner. Love this, it’s a sleeper due to Gen 1 but Weber offers a 100 day trial. They are standing behind the product and it shows.

    They should have a probe port with grommet on the side near the monitor but really, and you shouldn't have to do this, it would be an easy thing to add. It'd take longer to get the drill out than to do the work. Nice review. I want one, but I've been having so much fun using my old Weber kettle that I think i can save the money and wait for the next iteration. It looks like a very nice hybrid.

    I feel that this smokes closer to a stick burner with the increased airflow over other pellet grills which sometimes have a tendency to almost "bake". It’s like running a convection oven and getting a much dryer surface with increased browning. I have a Gen 2 EX4 and love it!!

    • @joshuagulinello659
      @joshuagulinello659 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you used stickburners before as a direct comparison? I only use a stick burner now and would like something as an alternative to use in the winter or when I can't tend a fire, but I'm hesitant,thinking I won't like the results .

    I looked at a 2nd gen SmokeFire at a local Ace hardware and it seemed really thin. I live in WI where the buildings even rust. I can't imagine this will last much longer than the warranty. My 3 yr old Camp Chef is covered in rust and it's never seen any rain or snow. And man, they need to train the people who sell these better. I want to buy a grill where they know the product.

    • @SmokedBBQSource
      @SmokedBBQSource  ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hey Jeff, any chance you could do a side by side compare between the Smokefire and the LSG pellet? Season, cook the same meat on both and do a taste compare with some other folks maybe? I LOVE my Smokefire, I’m a kettlehead and didn’t see myself using a pellet but curiosity got me. Have had my gen 2 for a year and a half, and went from using a kettle 5 nights a week to using the Smokefire five nights of the week. Thanks!

    • @SmokedBBQSource
      @SmokedBBQSource  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hands down my LSG is the best pellet grill I have ever ran to date. The Smokefire can maybe grill a tad better though and I mean a tad. Ya something about the ease of use on a pellet grill for sure. I use my SnS kettle for steaks though. I like a pellet grilled steak once in a while but you just can't beat the flavor of charcoal on a ribeye!! Thanks for watching!

      YA if the model has the riot mode but only flare ups I ever got on a RecTeq was a grease fire. Still nice pits but the open concept on the Weber models work better for grilling. The new Weber Searwood is the best "Jack of all trades" out there with now. Thanks for watching!

    Great video...I've watched many of yours and really appreciate and value your opinions...good and bad! I spend ~70% grilling so I've been hesitant to make the pellet jump but the simplicity, connectivity, etc. is intriguing so I'll likely pull the trigger on one soon. I like this SmokeFire for the higher temp capability and am also considering the RT-1250 from ReqTec and like the Pitboss Elite you reviewed in another video. One question...I notice the Stealth edition doesn't include the front shelf like the Gen 2 EX6...do you know if there's a black front shelf available? Thanks so much for your great reviews!

    Saw where at least Three of the more popular Pellet Grill enthusiast's w/ channel's here on YT had their Original Webber Pellet Grills flare up w/ Grease Fires that ruined the cook as well as being somewhat dangerous. These were fair tests done under normal grilling/smoking conditions for a Pellet Grill. Tha fact that Webber has come out w/ a "Gen 2" version so soon gives you a clue they knew there was a problem. What I'm surprised over, is that you didn't address this in your Well Done Review of this Pellet Grill. There are "grease channels" manufactured into the bottom of this New Gen 2 Grill that are supposed to address the Flare-up issue. Other reviews have already found that these built in grooves leading to the Ash Collector pot are easily clogged and useless after only a few cooks. Trager Grills need cleaning every other cook and apparently so does the Webber if you want the grease to drain properly. Camp Chef's sliding bottom "burn pot" is overrated and the rest of the grill bottom will need cleaning after around ten cooks if you want the grill to run efficiently. So for the money, my Camp Chef Smoke Pro will only get to 400 degrees with the densest Hardwoods, but the Grill Box accessory will hit 1500 degrees and grills or reverse sears beautifully for half the price as a Webber. And why Webber only has two smoke settings is odd as well, especially for a Smoker/Pellet Grill.

    • @SmokedBBQSource
      @SmokedBBQSource  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I clean all my pellet grills no matter what after 3 cooks. I have had so many grills it is just part of the cooking process. The Stealth is a decent upgraded pit, still not perfect but none of them are other than my Lone Star Grillz pellet grill. The grease trap is not a great thing still but it is better than Gen 1. Oh by the way I talk to the most famous guy that had the pork butt catch fire on him every single day. Justin is a fantastic feller! Thanks for watching!

      We love the Ninja Woodfire but you really cannot compare it with the Stealth. Two totally different grills for different use cases.

    This Weber is trash. It keeps clogging up no matter what pellet brands I use or how often I clean out the auger. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

      That is a coin flip as far as cooking but the app on the Weber is better.
