Shotglass and Banjo were my dogs. I bought both dogs from the Hernandez brothers in California. They bred off of Sorrells Hardeyes and Wilson’s BJ. Very game dogs! Mr. Grey is correct about me beating Adam’s and Ricky Jones Whitehead bitch with Banjo. We stopped her by wrecking her face and not letting go. Whitehead was taken home by Danny B and a year later took her into Mrs. Rooster the daughter of Jeep Mr. Grey spoke about. Whitehead made Mrs. Rooster try to leave the dance! Only reason she couldn’t was because her stifles were wrecked. Mr. Grey had some damn good dogs and I bred to one of his heavy bred Tonka males with my Blue eyed bitch. She was off of Beast who was a Hardeyes x Bandit a belly mate to Sailor. The Sire was Bullseye and was off of Shotglass and Guera. Bullseye was a belly mate to Bernice, Jungle Dog, Daisy and my Samantha bitch. There are some damn good dogs still down from that bloodline out there to this day. Those dogs were some of the tightest Zeke blood out there. It was good to hear to Mr. Grey talk about the good old days. It brought back lots of memories! I hope he is doing well.
Fortunately due to how well respected my father is in the dog world I've been able to travel and experience thing most people dream of all because of dogs and great honest people
Mr Grey is a Real Dogman that so many folks should listen and learn from! Last of a Dying Breed my friend! Thanks for another jewel MR SCHOOLBOY ! I miss the old days being blessed to tag alone with some real Men !
Thanks to you both, School Boy and Mr. Grey, for another great interview. I enjoy hearing about the dogs and all the places and people from across the globe. Geography is a fascinating subject for me as well as history. I haven’t seen much as far as traveling goes. I’ve been from Houston to Orlando across the gulf region and I’ve been to Ark. and Tennessee a few times. A few years ago, I rode Greyhound bus from Alexandria, LA all the way to Roanoke, Virginia. It was quite the experience. Tennessee is absolutely beautiful. I’m from Louisiana, which is beautiful, but kind of flat, as far as elevation goes. I start getting awe struck when I get to the top of a little hill. 😮. Much love and respect from Louisiana.
You're welcome Matt. Geography is important to me as well as very interesting and Mr Grey and I talk about different places. Being involved with the breed has led me to travel to many different places in the US,Mexico and other countries in the world. I've been to Louisiana a few times and enjoyed myself very much. Good people and good food and beautiful countryside. Thanks for your comments and support.

I’m so happy to hear him mention Gizmo. He forgets to add that she was my dog. Lol. Pretty sure he let me pick her out at 2 days old. This is Billie by the way and I’m super proud of Dad and Gizmo.
I’d heard that name here and there, but didn’t really know who he was. Just got the feeling he was someone who was respected. I’d heard about top flight dogmen that didn’t want notoriety like, Parker, and the guy with the Crenshaw dogs.
Leblanc’s Shot Glass, which I thought was Santo’s was off Sorrell’s Hardeyes out a daughter of Johnnie Walker Red. I thought the bitch that beat Rebel’s Whitehead was Sorrell’s Franny, which was a daughter of Sorrell’s Hardeyes.
Even tho I'm not a game dog kinda guy the knowledge shared on this channel is deep and rich I could listen to dogmen talk dog all day How about a deep dive in to feed, feed combinations, feed schedules and all things feeding

Just like Schoolboy is saying, I've seen a 75% Andy Capp son quit in :16. We had that Jeep stuff right off Indian Rocky out of a Stonewall daughter. They all quit. We stopped a belly brother of CH Chino, and numerous other well bred Boyles dogs. We stopped a ton of those Giroux' Booger dogs. Bottom line, so many dogs with fantastic paper simply didn't make the grade in real time when we were all living it.
I would like to know the stories of 3 old creators, two of which I believe are not well known outside of the United States RICHARD FISHER & RED BACKER RED B'S & RONNIE ANDERSON.
