I hear lots of good things about STP in interviews online but there's very little information about STP to be found. Was STP a person or a collection of people
@CharlieTheCaneCorso They were tops in their day. They were a group of dogmen. STP stands for Solo,Mr T and the Pollocks.
Thank for the knowledge

My bitch how passed in January at 20 years old used to come into season once a year like clockwork up until she was 16 years old which was crazy to me when I have had others stop a ten .u have to just take every bitch different. keep the video's coming Mr Garcia 💯🔥👊🏾
Appreciate the knowledge like always, but I have a question. When it comes to male producers like frisco, would you consider him a good / one of the best producers? I see he was bred at 1300 times and only produced 275 titled dogs, that seems like a terrible ratio, but then again it may be deeper than that. I'm new to the breed learning my way around.
@Markgotemtho You're welcome. Hard to say except for the people who used his blood successfully because we don't have records of all his offspring but going by what you posted the numbers are not high. More on the average side. We also have to take into consideration 1xw and 2xw and offspring that were also producers and how many were game or quit.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 Appreciate the response, I learn more and more from you everyday
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746Also have to keep in mind that a lot of them ended up with people who don't know what they're doing, which tends to happen when something gets popular and is readily available.
I have a female who like her mom is on a nine month cycle while her littermate sister is clock work six months on the day.
@josephsullivan9090 It can definitely be passed on and at the same time littermates can have regular heat cycles.
Loveit

I feel that anyone who breeds AND SELL puppies and dogs, at the bare minimum THAT BREEDER should be honest to a paying customer as to how their new acquisition is bred. The very moment your aim is to make money in breeding, you shouldn't lie to anyone about how the pup or dog is bred. But I know being "honest" is just not something that's in everyone's repertoire.
@@robertmitchell9529 Agreed. Especially if you sell pups or dogs.
Any info on a dog called small change I think he was a litter mate to your dog miss rowdy or something similar to that
@@timbowalk He was the grandsire of Big Red and Miss Rowdy. I believe he was a 3xw 1xl and reportedly a very good dog. Sired by Ch Jeep out of Gr Ch Miss Rage.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 yes that's what I was thinking I saw a brief video about him but it didn't really give much information but I figured you knew more
Good afternoon, what are your thoughts on keeping what they call a battle cross, bull and terrier or staff and apbt cross?
@DERRICKLEONIDAS365 Crosses like that have been made, mostly staff to pit bull. I haven't done it but it's been said people like Carver and Komosinski did. A Battle Cross is an outcross between pit bulls that are not related. Mixing breeds is something different and not a battle cross.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 Thank you!

Schoolboy, I know this question is random, but what are your thoughts on an African American dogman moving to Mexico, with no connections with anyone down there. Is it not adviced or would it run for the most part smoothly?
@Markgotemtho It would be easier if you know the language but it's best to have connections or know someone there because if you're going to rent or buy property to live there you'll need someone to interpret and show you the ropes.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 Alr, appreciate it once again. Have a good one👍

The best line breeding is half siblings top an first cousins bottom , what do You think Sir. ❓
@@ericthomas5972 It's definitely up there at the top. Many of the best breeders used that method at some point in their program.
GrandFather to granddaughter top side is the best close line breeding. What do You think Sir. ❓
@ericthomas5972 That too has proven to work well. I did that by breeding Big Red to his granddaughter Bambi. Got some of my best dogs from that. Louie and Red Witch.
I have a question. Do you not believe that if a pit bull is bred to a certain standard, (racing, protection, hunting, box, police work etc) that it will out perform any other breed in it? Yeah, you can't just get a bulldog and expect it to be automatically the best all around dog, but if you breed for certain standards in your program, you don't believe it can out perform every other breed in that category? (including out performing the grey hound in racing)
@Markgotemtho That's a good question. For a pit bull to excell in other areas it would have to be trained and eventually bred for those functions and in some cases you'd have to change the structure as well as in the case of racing greyhounds. Pit bulls were not bred or built for racing and greyhounds are. It's a great all-around dog but that doesn't mean it can do better than another breed that was bred for that function. Hounds have a particular build and traits for hunting and also an intelligence for it. To be the best at something means a breed is developed for that, which is why the pit bull was the best fighting dog in the past. Other breeds fight and may even have been bred for it but not to the level of the pit bull.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 Ok, I appreciate the response. Have a good one👍

When I was very young in the late 80s, WCC and a group of us left the ADBA show in Riverside and rolled out GR CH Daisy Mae's brother. Seems like 100 years ago. Corny was a game dog man, 100%.
@garofani4 Great history and Corney was tops in my book. I really enjoyed the interview.
Pit Town were good competitors. They got the Carr dogs from Tommy Moore, and they were real game. They may not have shined with wins, but they were real good with after care.

MR.GARCIA ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO!!!!! ONE THING THIS VIDEO MAKES ME THINK ABOUT IS IF A PERSON IS GOING TO KEEP A WHOLE LITTER ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS WITH THAT IS HAVEING A NICE SPACE THATS KEPT CLEAN.
@DERRICKLEONIDAS365 Thank you very much. Agreed. The area and surrounding areas need to be clean. By keeping the whole litter you know which ones are the best and which ones carry the traits. Having that knowledge, when you make future breedings you can keep the pups you like the best and let the rest go to others.
Another Great Video. I have a question 🤔: I noticed you talk about the Jeep/Miss Rage blood in your foundation animals and the addition of the Rascal Blood...I was wondering, did you add any more Redboy, or try it out, within your past breeding? Thanks in advance.
@aaronjohnson8832 I didn't add any Red Boy because both Big Red and his sister Miss Rowdy were half Red Boy but my protégé added a little Red Boy/Jocko after he got my dogs.
🫡 another great one Mr.Garcia, you continue to hit the nail on the head…Thank you for your time once again!

It occurred to me while listening to Mr.Boudreaux discussing his feed keep while conditioning Bolio that he isn’t in any of his dogs pedigrees after winning BIS with him? If you know, has he ever said why?
@markballard1515 I never asked him and I don't recall him speaking on it,although he might have. I can only assume it was because he didn't own him,he only conditioned and handled him so he didn't have any breeding rights to him.
What are your most important tips for making a fat dog lose weight as quick as possible but also build muscle?
@@LUV4THABULLDAWGS You can add pumpkin and a little apple cider vinegar to their diet. Cut back on the food by half and begin short workouts and increase the workouts as weight drops.
@@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 thank you for the reply, i just got back from a 4 hour walk with weighted collar with her not sure if i over done it but she can handle that. She was 120lbs last month i now got her to 97lbs. I use to feed her 1kg of raw i now cut that down to 500grams of raw, shes about 4years old. Shes a mastiff so naturally big but i want that lean athletic look like my other dog who is mayday chinaman blood now that boy is well conditioned.

Just like Schoolboy is saying, I've seen a 75% Andy Capp son quit in :16. We had that Jeep stuff right off Indian Rocky out of a Stonewall daughter. They all quit. We stopped a belly brother of CH Chino, and numerous other well bred Boyles dogs. We stopped a ton of those Giroux' Booger dogs. Bottom line, so many dogs with fantastic paper simply didn't make the grade in real time when we were all living it.
@@garofani4 Good comments and all true.
half brother and sister doubled on an outstanding male type breeding gives high precentages of good pups 😊
@SledstramiSevereReason That's true and Boyles made several half brother half sister breedings to great success.

@@MaikolRodriguez-cp4zd Salute. It might be best to wait til you're older or until you have some help to start breeding your dogs. If you decide to breed them now,try and keep the 2 or 3 you like the best.
@richardgarciaschoolboy7746 thank you I think I am going to have to breed now because this male I was given who is very nice good producer all around very good dog but he's 11years old so don't have that type of time thanks again for your feedback tho I'd keep as many as I think I can
