I heard this song for the first time the day I found out my mom had cancer. She battled for ten months and lost her battle almost a year ago. May 26th @ 3am my dad called me to tell me my mom was being rushed to the hospital because she couldn't breathe. On my way there "Watching For Comets" came on. When I got to the hospital my mom was gone. I used this song for a slideshow of my mom's life at her funeral. I listen to it several times a week. It reminds me that no matter how tough things get for me, it's nothing compared to what she went through in her 10 month battle for her life. Thank you for this...

my best friend committed suicide on the phone with me when i was in eighth grade and its been 4 years since it all happened. it traumatized me and devastated me. i could never get over it and after i heard this song, it helped me grieve. thank you skillet. god bless

The loss of someone is devastating. I lost my wife of 41 years on Oct. 30 2021. She was my soulmate and helper in ministry. I look forward to the day Christ comes and we no longer have to look for comets to see them again.

He has died of Liver Cancer back in my home of Southern California, I currently live in Missouri and my father only told me the day before he left to California and told us we can't go because of work. thing I love about skillet is that while some bands peak, they get better and better with each album. and everything about this song is beautiful and why I love music. you totally get lost in it.
Skillet's slower songs have always been way better and deeper than their upbeat ones.
