“Song from the Land of the Cold” for Celtic Harp [SHEET MUSIC AVAILABLE]

- Meet Thor and Tanya! Those beautiful creatures originally come from Valencia Oceanographic Center. They recently moved to Pairi Daiza in Belgium as part of an international conservation program to better understand and preserve walruses.
Pairi Daiza is an incredible animal park and botanical garden in Belgium, with a mission to support animal conservation research and public animal awareness. Not only does it boast beautiful nature, but you can even come in close contact with many different animal species, a truly moving experience that’s unique in the world.
To bond more easily with Thor and Tanya of course I decided to turn into a mermaid and play a song for them with my harp, a double strung Elysium harp made by Martin Gray. More info about this harp at grayburtonharps.wordpress.com.

Surreal, sublime, almost hypnotic video Marianne. Seeing these gigantic creatures move their enormous bulk so gracefully to the accompaniment of your harp is like watching a kind of underwater ballet. Really great video and great music, thanks for sharing!!!!

I felt compelled to make a second comment here Marianne. I've watched this video at least 10 times now and it just blows me away! The beautiful paradox here between the very delicate, tiny sound of your harp against the backdrop of these behemoths gliding effortlessly and silently through the water is really stunning. It's almost other worldly,definitely surreal. I have, as yet, not seen every video you've made, but I have watched a lot of them and this is possibly the best I've seen so far. There so much more I could say about this, but I don't want to put to fine a point on it, so I'll just say that in my opinion this is a brilliant little masterpiece!!!!!
