@@neutron-au there max rpm lol you obviously don’t have many hours on a 2 stroke sorry but honestly you can be third gear pinned and up two 6th gear you just didn’t get past 2nd
if you hook an air compressor up to the cylinder and pressurize it you wont need to pull the head to get the keepers in. that is on the chance that the valves seal well and the head gasket is good, but you know what i mean.
Since these bikes have two different cases, I bought the saw80 trans oil for it but I’ve heard you can run the normal 10w40 oil for that what’s your opinion on that
Personally since it’s a Honda you could probably run vegetable oil and it will still run. I run rotella 15w30 in it. Coconut oil works as well. Can’t for get peanut oil. or if your significant other has essential oils you could probably get away with that as well.
Hey do you think for a mid 2000’s crf150f or 150r for 1400 is a good price? It looks to be in good condition. I just need to know what amount of money i need to save for
Actually. At harbor freight they sell this tool that works for car valve springs and I was able to hold the valve closed through the intake and then compress the spring and get the retainer in. I was getting ready to take off the head but I really wanted to try put the $20 took to see if it’s worth it and it was pretty easy to use. Took me abt 30 secs per valve spring
Derrek Clark number one they're slow compared to two strokes. and number two they're money pits. you fix one thing and not even 5 minutes later it's another thing. just don't get one. if you've never rode before don't get a two stroke or a race four stroke. you'll probably end up hurt. how old are you? i'll tell you what bike you should get
If you can find a 150R or RB for a reasonable price they are great bikes. I used to have a 2014 150R (small wheel) and it rode like a dream as well as being wicked fast. The only thing that I would recommend if you are looking at a 150 is definitely get the big wheel version if you are trail riding and do the jetting mod. If you leave the jets stock it will bog but after I replaced them it revved as fast as a 2 stroke. I would recommend getting a 2009 or up so you dont have to deal with the recalls and immediately when you get it rebuild the carb, it only takes an hour if you know what you are doing. It makes all the difference. I could not recommend a better bike for someone that's not completely to a full size yet.
Most underrated TH-camr out there!!

You should put a clean cloth over the top of the cylinder on the kx100.

Any chance I can take that 150 when it’s done ?
Yea just bring me like 2500 cash lol

How much would you want for it ?
Did you check the coil
Or put it in neutral then turn the gas off then it will eventually turn off and it’s better for the bike
Every 150 you buy makes me miss mine it got stolen dont know if you saw my comment a few months ago and it should have shims on all valves
Yes. I got the shims in today and it runs good now
