This video should be required viewing for anyone that plans on spending money on a suspension. You can pour all the money you want into it, but if it isn't set up for your rig and your use, it's a total waste of money. And yeah, I loved the final fly by.

I never get tired of you interacting w/ the fans. We had the opportunity to meet Gretchen Wilson once. She looked a bit tired. I asked her if she ever tired of the fan interaction. I remember when I was but a kid, I drove RC controlled cars semi competitively.
(I raced a Blue Eagle LS from Traxxas, one of the first long arm race trucks)
I was on this one track with a bunch of whoops that it kept slapping it's rear end on.
Turns out, I had put the wrong weight oil in my front shocks,
so the damping was very weak, and the springs very strong.
So every time it compressed, it rebounded like mad pushing the front end up,
This rotated the car, so the front went up, and the rear went down.
Thus the rear ended up going where the front end had just been,
the rear end would plow into the whoops a moment later.
Ended up putting thicker oil in the front shocks,
and also lowering the spring rate a little bit,
and it just flowed over the whoops after that.
_It was a good lesson in how big a difference, a few small changes can make._
    On a sidenote :
Dang you guys must go through a lot of permanent markers ? 😁

I drive a GM pickup truck. I'd say the limited amount of front suspension travel is its biggest shortcoming when driving off road. The StepChild looks like it actually has very respectable suspension travel. It scoots real well though the desert now. PS, I just ordered an Axial SCX10iii JLU in red, so I can have 1/9 scale StepChild-like adventures.

3-link and 4 link suspensions drastically change tuning requirements. Tuning for whoops in the desert is much different than road tuning or rock crawl tuning. Hope you find some balance for all the Stepchild does.
