this phone & box reminds me of vivo nex which was released in collaboration with fifa 2018 world cup with first ever pop up camera, under screen fingerprint scanner and no ear piece as the screen acts as the speaker! that phone is still my daily driver :D
I wish they changed the design of the box for the x100 series instead of using the same box design as the x90 series. vivo should of made a shiney or translucent box instead

Bro vivo is not snapdragon chip if you want a snapdragon chip phone then go for OnePlus, Xiaomi, Samsung Galaxy or Honor magic but vivo in this video it's Media Tek Dimensity 9300 4nm 5g chip

I'm really struggling to find information on this. Could someone tell me if the UK will have a release on the Vivo X100 pro and when that will be?
I've also heard that the X100 pro plus (aka ultra) may be limited to China only. Either way could anybody explain when this will be released?

Tim I thought that the X100 is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging, while the X100 Pro packs a slightly larger 5,400 mAh battery inside with 100W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support as well. Can you confirm the differences between the Chinese vs the Global edition?

I have the China version of the VIVO X100 Pro. I'm surprised by how clean the Global version is, but it seems to lack features like AI Video Editing and basic settings for the phone itself. I also don't find the certificate logos on the back very attractive. I can't judge exactly, but my feeling tells me that I have better software integration with the Chinese variant of the phone, "apart from the Chinese stuff that you don't need".I am absolutely satisfied with the Vivo x100 Pro.
Isn't the battery life only second to iPhone 15 pro max?
@@starsecream My battery lasts 2 days 'without gaming'.. With heavy usage, I've seen it drop to only 33-40% by the evening.. Sure, it recharges super fast, but I expected a bit more.. Not a big deal..

@@starsecream I'm adjusting my response slightly. Vivo has since released several trail updates and the battery life has improved dramatically. The battery now easily lasts 2-3 days with normal use.

For the UK you will need probably the international version (Hong Kong model) for the N20 bandwidth on 5g you need to check what 5g bands your carrier uses. Again, it might work, but not all the time depending on bandwidth.

Tim this is not enough to make a decision and plus please don't waste 1000$ on the vivo just go for Samsung Galaxy if it comes to 1000$ flagship or you can directly go for iphone
for a 1000 you're not getting enough with either samsung or apple you have to spend atleast 1200 to get a atleast flagship phone from these companies so short answer the vivo is better than both apple and samsung
i have a 14 pro max and today i ordered the x100 pro 16/512gb with the price of the vivo you're getting so much more and the best part is i paid for the vivo only 850 euros less than a 1000

Why all the major US based Tech TH-camrs reviewing devices that are not sold directly in the US (like, Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi etc.). No doubt these are some great OEMs but the fact is that they aren't directly sold and warranty /customer service to them in the US.
Unfortunately the 9300 is very weak and thermal throttles to 46% of its performance when gaming
