You identified a number of incompatibility issues which happens often when mixing brands, especially cheaper brands with more expensive brands. Sometimes saving a few $$$ to forsake hassle free compatibility just isn’t worth it. I used the Corsair 5000X, all fans were Corsair 120mm RGB, and the AIO Cooler Rad was a Corsair H150i iCUE tri-fan…no issues with fitment or orientation of any of the cooling options because it was all Corsair and all designed to work together. Very informative video though with a number of points to consider with my own build; was good to see a similar build as my own (also AORUS Master X, Intel i-9 14900K). 😎😃💻
You need to check your radiator orientation, tubes to the top is bad, it collects the bubbles and runs them through the water pump. Manufacturers show this orientation but its completely incorrect, do a check to make sure you don't damage your system.
fixed the wiggle with a small piece of paper folded a few times. make sure its fairly flat and use it like a pretend m.2 drive. worked for the larger plate also. and mount your radiator with the hoses at the bottom. it makes noise and will wear the pump faster over time.
Beautiful board. I love the aesthetics and the features it brings. I hope there's going to be a price cut in the future, especially with Computex coming around. Right now it's a bit too expensive, especially in my region.
I like the build love your tutorial but I don't like intake fans on top that is the only thing that would bother me to the point of getting a different case other than that great 👍🏽 job
Dude1 I have damn near the same build!!!! Thats Awesome!!! The only differences between mine and yours is I chose a corsair 1000W psu, and I chose the 990 EVO 2tb just because pcie 5 is slightly faster (not without its flaws though) I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine!
upgrading my cpu at christmas from i7 4790k to the i9 14900k my budget is 1000 , so just buying the 14900k , mobo and ram, then psu and fan is priority, then upgrading my gpu and ss'ds in the future , but really need to upgrade my cpu to make sure it lasts a few years, hopefully the i9 14900k is good
Hey have you had or heard about any problems with that AIO. I did a new build and the LCD on the pump did power on but after shutting down the PC once the LCD never turns back on.
i have msi godlike z490 10th gen i9 10900k paired with rtx 3080ti 32gb ram is it really worth all that money right now to upgrade to a 14th gen i9 14900k? I have so much money into my system right now. and did i forget to mention i am "real" water cooled...
Where do you mount your noise and temperature sensors? It seems somebody forgets parts inside mobo box. Very unprofessional. Do you know the difference between temp sensor 1 and 2? Did you put at least noise sensor? @PlanetKryos
There is no difference between them. You can put them wherever you want. Place them in a spot you want to capture the Temps. Also move them around to get other readings of needed

URGENT PLEASE! I'm trying to install Windows 11 Pro, it asks me for the Intel RST disk driver, I have it copied, but it still doesn't recognize the disk to install. In the BIOS it recognizes the disk, it is a GIGABYTE 1TB SSD GEN4, I installed it in the next PCI slot which is 4.0 below 5.0. What steps should I change in the BIOS to be able to install Windows? (I have the same processor and same motherboard)
I have a 5th Gen M.2 and plan on occupying the main M.2 slot. Does it really matter or even affect performance of a 4090 going Gen 5 X8? It'a Gen 4 card....which would put it at a data rate of Gen 4 X16 so it should be absolutely fine correct?
I have same motherboard/cpu same aio cooler.. i bought a gen 5 ssd tho hope i don't regret it...1600watt power supply just need fans and ram ... and the gig 4090 ... any suggestions on changing anything or adding
I personally would opt for a 4080 due to the melting connectors on the 4090s. But they will be coming out soon with updated connectors. Other than that, awesome build!
Looking to do a similar build been a while how is best way to instal windows 11 i use windows 10 64 bit at moment ? is it best to use 64 bit as well for 11 ? thanks all
I have this mobo and i cant get intentet to work. I havsnt installed windows yet because I need internet to install updates during the initial install.
Total cringeworthy moment when you scrunched up the clear plastic protection layers. OK some people throw them but I store them between wax paper to put back on when I sell.
Excellent choice of hardware, and I particularly like how you go over every step in great detail! Much appreciated! Great video!

Impressive build. Great Job, Thank you for streaming.

I made almost twice the generational jump myself recently.
Went from an i7-6700k to an i9-13900k.
Now that is a very large jump. My stepson is still on my first PC build of a 6700k. I'm sure you will love it.
Trying to set my MLB right now and this video and your older video are a big help to guide.

Can you provide proof it shortens the life? Anyone can say anything online

Cool. So far after 4 months, no issues

Just remember the 14900K is hard to cool and depending on what you are doing you may need to undervolt it.
The machine looks amazing! I had a bad experience with Gigabyte while ago. What's your opinion about it?
Not issue since building it
Noice! Would have loved to see a Conebench23 result with temps. Just got my 14900k tamed with a .040 v undervolt with XTU.
I just did a cinebench. My thermal video will come out next week.
Very nice build....Nothing like unboxing some cool comp stuff... your build should be killer... 96 GIGS of RAM LOL
Wow - that is some tasty kit you have assembled - it's a bit beyond my budget though - I do like that AIO - top quality PK keep up the good stuff 🤓
Yes it is. Thx for watching
i'm doing the same upgrade from 9900k, so it's massive for me
9900K?
@@PlanetKryos upgrading from the i9 9900k to 14900k
Oh OK got you. Cool!
Hey I going to make this build without parts from another build and wanted to know what part I need that aren’t in the video
Check out the parts list
Very NICE @Planet Kryos well done.. 💯 11/15/2023 2020
Hey have you had or heard about any problems with that AIO. I did a new build and the LCD on the pump did power on but after shutting down the PC once the LCD never turns back on.
Not that I know of. Been work great since I got it. Down loading new versions of SW is an issue at times though. Not very friendly in the aspect
GREAT VIDEO
Thx

Only if you need to upgrade. I only did for content creation.
Your system is still nice

send me your 10900K! (It will be a nice upgrade over my 7700K/Z270, which is still all I need, apparently!) But 96 GB of RAM? Holy shnike-ees!)
At 9.20, you said if you install a gen5 ssd in that slot, it will make the gpu slot from x16 to x8 how that will affect my gpu ?
It would make you gpu run ar x8 instead of x16.
Did you find out what the issue was with those one fans? Doing that same fan set up right now hoping i dont run into that.
Yes needed the sw to set fans up. Showed it in another video
Any reason not to use the push/pull as intake? To get the colder air outside to cool? Just wondering.
That would not really make a difference and be louder. Cost more.
Respondeme porfavor, tuviste algun problema con la placa madre? He escuchado tantos problemas de la placa madre, enserio me gustaba la placa es gloriosa
No issues so far
l was looking at this board how was it running ???/
Not one issue since I installed it

I would only install OneDrive install Windows and then put your other drives back in
if i plug 2 cpu cables without overclocking its ok? i have the 14900k
Yes, I do it to most of my PC if I have an extra power connector
I have a 5th Gen M.2 and plan on occupying the main M.2 slot. Does it really matter or even affect performance of a 4090 going Gen 5 X8? It'a Gen 4 card....which would put it at a data rate of Gen 4 X16 so it should be absolutely fine correct?
Try it in both positions, and if you are happy with gaming results, great.
Which monitor to used

Isn't this an E-ATX board?? Your case is ATX?
The case supports all
GOOD ONE
Did you do a fresh install of the windows?
Yes I did
Looking to do a similar build been a while how is best way to instal windows 11 i use windows 10 64 bit at moment ? is it best to use 64 bit as well for 11 ? thanks all
Always use 64 bit unless you have a reason to use 32.
Hi… Does the M.2 you are using comes with heatsink?
No it didn't come with a heatsink. No need to buy one with the heat sink and spend extra money. The MB has a heatsink built in.
I have this mobo and i cant get intentet to work. I havsnt installed windows yet because I need internet to install updates during the initial install.
You can either hook up an eithernet cable or use the included drivers for it
Total cringeworthy moment when you scrunched up the clear plastic protection layers. OK some people throw them but I store them between wax paper to put back on when I sell.
You spent a graphics card on m.2 storage.
Ok?
Is that motherboard dual bios?
No it is not
AIO placement??? How are all these expensive builds just chucking the AIO how ever they want??
i went from a 10th gen i3 to a 14900k
Sweet!
Why is this a gaming PC? There is no video card.
Lol I know. You can add one. I just added my older 3070Ti till I get a new one.
Lian li , its supposed to look not to work 😅
8 months ago: hello 14900
today (august 2024): bye bye 14900
That's a shit load of 990 Pro's...
nooo gpuuuu?
That got installed in the what to do after your build video
