@@cameronwulff stratovarius, in fact, did not survive without him. After he left, this is just a good cover band. Not everyone has a sensitivity to these things, but there was a certain genuine spirit with Tolkkie, and after he left it was gone. (sorry for my english, i`m russian)
@@DaNikkiZ That means they haven't evolved at all... And that was exactly my point. I kinda liked Episode and some of the albums before. But maybe they were this generic and boring even then. Just that it felt more fresh back then. And I guess my musical taste has changed the last 25 years.

They keyboards almost always make me think of Bach, Mozart etc. - edit: it's the harpsichord sounds, and the melodies with them

Boring, generic power metal with absolutely no originality apart from the guitar playing. They were better on their earlier albums.
