Timo Kotipelto, the singer, had a throat virus back in 2010 that killed his range and he's never really been able to perform like he used too. Super unfortunate cause he had one of the most incredible ranges in all of metal. So if you do another Strato react look for live versions of stuff before 2010 or studio recordings( there are tons of songs they don't do live that are absolutely incredible). I recommend Elements, Learning to fly, Father time, Freedom, Destiny, Falling into Fantasy, Venus in the Morning, Abyss of your eyes(a short but amazing solo), Kiss of Judas, If the Story is Over(fantastic ballad), Elysium(long track, but SO worth it), Fantasia(this song saved my life when I was suicidal). The more recent Live Loud Park show is also acceptable. Strato is my favorite band always has been, always will be. These guys and Kamelot are what got me into singing.
It's a shame they stick to the old songs while they have plenty of good new songs they never play. Imagine The Game Never Ends, Event Horizon, Out of the Fog, Elysium (would be totally awesome!), Feeding the Fire, Until the End of Days, Giants, etc... live. The crowd would go nuts. On their last concert I visited they played 4 newer songs and the other ones were older songs like Destiny, Eagleheart and Forever Free. Timo even admitted that he has now way less trouble singing live than before. So I'm sitting here and wonder why they always play so much old songs. I watched a live performance from Knotfest Mexico '19 and they played Phoenix and it didn't really sound good. Timo should focus on the newer songs, they have so much of them.
Aaaaah I can't wait to see them live again in October after 5 yeaaars! They were my first concert back in 2013 and I'm dying to see them again. Bonus for this european tour is that they are touring with Tarja Turunen, who I love so much as well! 🖤

It's funny that you react to Stratovarius live performances as Kotipelto really isn't that great of a live vocalist... They do have legendary status though, so at least the crowd is always excited which improves these videos a bit :) Good live bands like Sonata Arctica and Avantasia should really get a listen from you, they have dvd gigs with good sound quality too. If you want the best of them live, look for the live album : Vision of Europe.. or the live show from a few years ago in Japan (from Nemesis tour) for newer stuff and band members. The sound is so so loud and perfect..

I love Stratovarius, but this song is a bit overrated. I really like the way you approach your raction videos though.
This is in my book the worst stratovarius song and sadly the most payed in finnish radio. They have better, destiny is one.
