Magi from the East. Homily for the feast of Epiphany.

Magi from the east come to Jerusalem seeking the newly-born King of the Jews. Following a star they make their way to Bethlehem, the town in which David was born. There they find the child they had been seeking. Falling to their knees they pay him homage and, opening their treasures, they offer him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.
