Seeing that it’s recorded in history that the Greeks and Romans noticed Israel rested the Sabbath every week and decided to attack them on “Saturn-Day” seems like pretty straightforward evidence to me that we are figuring out new things to argue about. Good Job Lex

It is also recorded in History, that the Jews original Sabbath was based on a lunar calendar. This is not only recorded in Historic Jewish writing, but in non Jewish history, and even AMERICAN ENCYCLOPEDIAS up to the early 1900's!!!!! So now seeking Truth is called "finding things to argue about," is that what churches think we did coming away from pagan festivals? Or are we still seeking Truth? Seeking God's Feasts is okay, but seeking the Creator's true calendar is just figuring out new things to argue about? Sorry, I can't point to a calendar with pagan day names and pagan month names and say here is SATURN'S day our Sabbath!

@@LightSeekers777 And then there’s the Bible, Josephus, modern languages and Talmud that point to Shabbat falling on the same day Saturday. Encyclopedias are updated every time they come out with a new addition. If it was all the way back then, it probably had a lot of funny stuff in there.
You don’t have to, use what ever calendar you wish. But, Shabbat is determined on a 7 day continuous cycle. Laid out constantly in the Bible every time that command is given. Roman generals lay out multiple times that Judea did this weird thing that coincided with Saturn Day, where they rest from all
Activity and don’t bother to pick up weapons. So they attacked them on Saturday multiple times

Interestion observation but may i correct one point in your assumption. The romans kept as calender that was different than the jews if theur time. The modern calendar is based on the roman calendar and have kept the pagan names and days and reconning.. u can study more on this, but even though rome attacked on THEIR saturns day, on that specific day and year coincided with the isreal sabbath, who used a different calendar. The calendar if israel has always been a sore spot for pagans because they wanted everyone to be on the same calendar. The last temple high priest modified the original calendar to coincide with the pagan calendar to try to fit in with the pagans. Because if this, God has punished them over and over, even bringing them back to the land because of His name, not because they are righteous. God said the keeping of the sabbath was a mark of who belonged to HIM, and He does not change.

Not possible. New Moon = Rosh Chodesh (ראש חודש) literally means Head of the Month, so it can't fall in the middle if it's at the Beginning. If it does, it's because it's put against another calendar like the Gregorian. You can't commingle the original with the substitute and get the proper projection or perspective.

“And Elohiym said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for appointed feasts, and for days, and years: BERE'SHIYTH (GENESIS) 1:14 את CEPHER

“All the time that the moon is in progress with its light, it is poured in the presence of the sun, until light is in fourteen days completed in heaven. And when it is wholly extinguished, its light is consumed in heaven; and on the first day it is called the New Moon, for on that day light is received into it.” CHANOK (ENOCH) 78:13-14 את CEPHER
“Blow the shofar on the dark New Moon today on our solemn feast. For this was a statute for Yashar'el, and a law of the Elohiym of Ya`aqov.” TEHILLIYM (PSALMS) 81:3-4 את CEPHER
There are plenty of examples of the moon being used to measure the times. Before there were modern calendars, all we could do was look up.
Just because Heathens used the moon to observe their times doesn’t mean the children of Israel did not do the same. Moses threw down his staff and it became a snake and Pharaoh’s servants did the same. 🤷🏽‍♀️
I think the reason why there is confusion here as to whether this is truly biblical or pagan is because it’s being done incorrectly, but when done correctly it actually flows perfectly from month to month. There are no “non days,” or “extra-days.” That simply comes from trying to mix in the Gregorian calendar.
I’d be careful to call this one Pagan Lex. Keep digging. The journey on this one can’t be concluded just yet.

Ezekiel 46:1 tells us what the 1st and 30th days are, they are New Moon days. Days on which the gates are open, like the Sabbath days and unlike the 6 working days. A third class of day.
I notice you mention Leviticus 23:2 but leave off verse 3 that lists the Sabbaths as the first type of feast days. I've always wondered how come the Sabbaths are being taught based on the continuous cycle of a man made calendar when they are listed as a feast day with the annual feast days reckoned by His holy calendar. Also, how come the two 7 day feasts never mention a mid- feast Sabbath day? Could the Saturday keepers be adding something to His word?
I suppose it is very true when it is said we find what we look for. May I suggest you try to prove the Lunar Sabbath and new moon days. If it cannot be proved, then keep your Saturday. If it can be proved....

    Thanks Lex.
Since finding "Christian videos" on YT, I have never encountered so many people who speak and believe so much nonsense. As a young man, I thought people who went to "churches" were really knowledgeable about GOD. In the brief period I actually attended church, I found my previous beliefs totally wrong.
Most churchmen believe a bunch of nonsense that is either not in the Bible or something that was twisted from snippets of Paul's letters. Even when you do a word for word study with them, they still will not let go of erroneous doctrines they were taught. For my Wife and me, the first piece in the "church of cards" was the observing the 7th Day Sabbath. Whew, Baptists don't wanna let go of SUNday. And they certainly don't want to be "under the law" lest they be cursed! I don't know where they got this nonsense from. Obey God's Commandments and you will be BLESSED/Disobey God's Commandments and you will be CURSED. That's what is written in my Bibles!
After leaving "the church", much independent study and watching videos like yours as well as 119 Ministries, Monte Judah, Triumph in Truth and Rood Awakening, I have a pretty good handle on the truth and how "churchmen" have perpetuated SO MANY grievous lies. Even more lies can be found when you look at "church history" and what was said by so-called "church fathers"!
And now upon coming into the Messianic Belief, I have unfortunately encountered just as many flawed teachings and beliefs not based on the Scriptures. (People can't even agree on the Names and many INSIST they are the only ones who know and if you don't say the Names their way, you somehow are sorely misled and even possibly worshipping some pagan false god.) The first time I heard about the Lunar Sabbath, I though someone was pulling my leg. Nope, people actually believe this nonsense and will fight you over it! I will be so happy when Yeshua returns to set all of this straight. From the Names, to the Calendars to how to PROPERLY observe the Moedim.
Be Blessed and continue to help us all "Unlearn the Lies"!

Kindling a fire means starting a fire. Wood I has to be gathered. Split to make kindling. It is time consuming to start a fire. One may also need to fan the fire to get it started or to assist with additional oxygen by blowing on it. It creates more smoke than a fire already started.
Ask yourself this: in the winter months, how would you heat your home if no fire was allowed on sabbath? Also, there is a commanded sacrifice for sabbath day. How do you sacrifice without a fire? So there must be a difference between kindling a fire and keeping a fire going by throwing additional fuel on it from time to time. Right?

Lex, I just had this discussion and have been diving deep into this. The extra days was def my hang up. But what about these 2 things?:
    1. The new moon days. There is a definite command to keep them as rest days. And they where not nailed to the cross as the moon days are just a way to keep time. Paul affirms this in Colossians.
    2. If you where on crashed on a deserted island, and where unconscious for a while. How would you know when to keep the Sabbath? There is no provision for that in the more popular method of keeping the Sabbath.
I have to admit I am torn between the 2, and the non-provision for keeping the Sabbath I’ve been keeping this far, from the natural world, makes me very suspicious. God ALWAYS makes provision. And the luminaries in the sky set forth from the 4th day of creation were out there exactly to tell time.

Good point about the the island scenario. David was expected to be at the kings table for the two new moon days, that would mean they only had four days to work and not six. This alone breaks their six day working cycle. Those two days are new moon days not non-days. Several verses in the Bible back up observing new moon days. Six days the doors to the temple are shut but on the sabbath AND new moon they are open. When a new moon lands on a working day you cannot have doors open and shut. So which command do they follow? In their cycle they have to choose one and ignore the other.

He quotes they had manna for six days and the sabbath but it does not include the new moon days, he makes it sound as if they would not eat for two days, they had sheep, goats, cattle, pigeons and doves that they ate. Passover, priest portions from the offerings are examples.
There is definitely a distinction being made between these three different days, why? We are not told directly. But there are three distinct days mentioned in the Bible. And the new moon plays a key role in determining the other two. And for the other moed.

It would seem to me that since these things were stated by "the mother church" and illegitimate "church fathers", we all know EXACTLY what day the TRUE Sabbath is. Brothers and Sisters, let's talk about the Council of Laodicea - 364 AD:
We have easily found information on Constantine and the Sabbath. One of the goals of this council was to discourage Sabbath keeping in the Eastern Roman Empire during this time; most Christians in the East still observed the Sabbath. The canons, or final conclusions issues by council, confirm this detail. We have some quotes below:
“Canon 16: The Gospels are to be read on the Sabbath [i.e. Saturday], with the other Scriptures.
Canon 29: Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday, but shall work on that day; but the Lord’s day they shall especially honour, and, as being Christians, shall if possible, do no work on that day. If, however, they are found Judaizing, they shall be shut out from Christ.
Canon 37: No one shall accept festal presents from Jews and heretics, or keep the festivals with them.”
The Romans knew all too well what day it was and so did the "Christians" who still obeyed YeHoVaH's instructions.
An interesting side note is that when "the Lord's Day" is mentioned in the Scriptures, it's the day of GOD's wrath...
It is NEVER stated that it is a day to worship "Jesus"...

“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith יהוה.” (Isa 66:23, RNKJV)
“Thus saith the Sovereign יהוה; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.” (Eze 46:1, RNKJV)
Looking at Ezekiel, the gate stay shut for 6 working days but on the Sabbath and New Moon, it is open.

The only New Moon day that is not a 'work day' is the 7th month for Trumpets, a (proclaimed) Sabbath/Feast day.
So, New moon days are work days and just like other work days, UNLESS there is a Sabbath (weekly or proclaimed per Lev 23) for it to be open, it is closed.
'From New moon to New moon' = month to month; and 'Sabbath to Sabbath' = yearly (proclaimed) Sabbaths/Feasts.

Here's where I couldn't reconcile the lunar sabbath argument.
If the Passover takes place on the evening of the 14, and 15 day of the month is Unleavened bread. And the lunar sabbath calculate the weekly sabbath landing on day 15 also; then what 'sabbath' day was coming to an end as Mary came to the grave as day dawned, to find Jesus risen 3 days and 3 nights later?
It just doesn't fit with Scripture.
What is frustrating about this topic, is that it confuses and discourages those christians I've witnessed to who were coming around and seeing how sabbath is on the seventh day and feasts etc...but then they hear this and back off thinking how loony it all must be. :(.
I know my lunar sabbath friends have good intentions, but I do see this topic really messing with the bringing together of the two sticks.

So, if the Gregorian calendar and the Julian calendar weren't around during Exodus, what calendar was?
From what I understand from the Lunar calendar believers is that there was NO calendar back then, no monday, tuesday, etc. (obviously) and the Israelites looked to the moon and sun (new moon is mentioned in the Bible a lot) to establish their month (moon) and sun (days). Sabbath today is sundown to sundown. Month should be new moon to new moon? You get 4 Sabbaths in that time, separated by 6 days... We all know God created the moon, not pagans... So my question is still what calendar did the Israelites use to decipher the Sabbath days? Or did they use the sun and the moon?

One thing I know, our current calendar in use is pagan. There's no way around its deception and decrepitness. You can't keep a Yah-given Shabbat on a man-made, pagan calendar. Make that make sense? Times and laws changed is exactly what Daniel 7:25 talks about. Which is why our time keeping elements are in the heavens where we don't have access, because the attempt to change may be factual, i.e. days of the week, months of the year, removal of festivals new moon observation and inserting pagan holidays, juxtaposing the beginning of the year-- but the truth can't be tampered with. Not by finite men. It was made for us, not by us.

It seems like they did a meet up everyday and choose one of those days to collect money for the poor. So using Acts 20 as a proof text that the sabbath was change to the 1st day of the week because they did a meet up and broke bread is lacking. Especially since it makes the wrong assumption that meeting and breaking bread is only done once a week.

Thank you for a clear explanation and research. I just like to add that on the new earth, weekly 7th day Sabbaths and lunar sabbath will both be days of worship (Isa 66:22-23). If the weekly cycles do not line up with the lunar cycle, they will not be consistent as it is now, but things could be different on the new earth, the lunar sabbath could be exactly 28 days apart, and only then we could use the moon as a guide for the weekly sabbath. Praise YHVH & Ἰησοῦ \'Ē·,sōh\ Jesus for all our blessings.

    I follow, and agree.
My question is: how do we trace back the actual 7 day cycle? I am fairly certain the Gregorian calendar is also inaccurate.
Furthermore, does it make a difference post-Messiah, and could this be one example of what Yahshua was Redeeming us from?
I desire to keep the Sabbath, personally...and to follow as much of Torah as possible. Not for salvation, since salvation is by Grace...but because GOD Stated it Pleases HIM, and in my experience, following HIS Law seems to bring Blessings.

We are only students and are seeking, like yourself. But it does appear that the 7 day cycle was not disrupted. The dead sea scrolls indicate this, and also in the book of John we read "the feast of the Jews" several times making a distinction, and Messiah seemed to be keeping a different calendar, keeping the Feasts like Passover a day early, but was keeping the same Sabbath as the religious Jews. You are right in that we cannot keep the Torah perfectly, only Messiah could do it perfectly, and we are not in the land, no Temple, but we are Torah pursuant and trying to please the Father, through His Son, and out pure love and desire from our hearts. Shalom

It doesn't take much wisdom to determine that there should be a starting point for any calendar. So men used both the lunar only and solar only calendars. If you have read, Enoch and determined that what he was actually talking about was luni-solar, then kudos to you, you are indeed man or woman living by the bread (manna) from heaven, every Word from the mouth of the Prophets as Enoch was a Prophet too, not just the Prophets from the Torah. In fact, Enoch is one of the two witnesses mentioned in Revelation who turn the hearts of the children to the Father. Yahshua was indeed redeeming us from the very man made pagan calendars that don't follow Scripture which the reason for the exile echoed in Old Testament. In fact, that is the Mark, the sign of the true Sabbath keepers.

    • @bawbjusbawb6471
      @bawbjusbawb6471 ปีที่แล้ว

The wave offering (Hebrew: tenufah תנופה) or sheaf offering or omer offering (korban omer) was an offering (korban) made by the Jewish priests to God (Exodus 29:24, 26, 27; Leviticus 7:20-34; 8:27; 9:21; 10:14, 15, etc.). The sheaf or omer or wave-offering then became the property of the priests.
The omer offering (Hebrew korban omer, minchat omer) was a grain sacrifice wave offering, brought to the temple in Jerusalem. The first-fruits was a sheaf of barley which was offered in connection with the Feast of Unleavened Bread, directly following the Passover. The first-fruits of the second harvest, the loaves of bread, are offered at Shavuot, and both were wave offerings. The leftover of the korban are kept by the kohen and was listed as one of the twenty-four priestly gifts.

When the plague of hail fell in the early part of Abib (Month 1), the wheat was not destroyed because it was unripe (it had not even sprouted). The Tyndale Bible supports this understanding:
"but the wheat and the rye were not smitten, for they were late sown." (Ex 9:32, Tyndale Translation)
In order for the wheat to have been ready for harvest by the 9th day of the third lunation (Sivan 9), it would have had to go from seed to harvest in about two months! This is simply not possible. Wheat generally takes 100-120 days to mature (about 3 1/2 - 4 months).

Read your Bible. Exodus 16. The First Moon-th of the year had Passover on the 14th 'Day' of the month and the Moon-th started with New Moon 🌒 Day in the spring 🌼 🌱 the next 'DAY' the 15th, the Israelites had no dead first born but they Egyptians did. All 'DAY' on the 15th the Egyptians tried to get the Israelites to leave Egypt, they gave them lots and lots of gifts and finally at night 🌃, a Full 🌕 Moon 'DAY' they left Egypt. The next morning of the 16th 'day' of Abib they made their famous Red Sea crossing. One Moon-th later on the 15th 'DAY' of the 2nd Moon-th of the year they murmured against God. God told Moses to tell the people that at twilight, after the 7th 'DAY' SABBATH'DAY' was over that HE would give them meat to eat. The got quail, quail and more quail and the next morning, the day of the 16 the they got Manna from heaven for the first time and they were to only pick up enough for that day. If they picked up to much, it melted, spoiled and bred worms. They were told to pick up twice as much on the 6th day of the week, the 21st 'day' of the second Moon-th because on the 22nd 'DAY' of the Moon-th no manna would fall and the manna picked up in a double portion on the 21st didn't spoil, melt or breed worms on the 22nd. So we know that the 14th 'day' of the 1st Moon-th and the 16th 'day' both weren't 7th 'DAY' SABBATH 'DAY's and we know that the 16th 'day' of the 2nd Moon-th and the 21st 'day' weren't 7th'DAY' SABBATH'DAY'S'. We also know that the 10th 'day' of the 1st Moon-th and the 9th Night 🌃 and the 10th 'day of the 7th Moon-th aren't 7th 'DAY' SABBATH 'DAY'S' as well. Those are the day the lamb was purchased or selected from the flock and the night 🌃 and the Day of Atonement which is a Fasting period and YHWH ELOHIM'S 7th 'DAY' SABBATH'DAY' is a Feast 'DAY' and to fast on a feast 'DAY' is a sin. Also the day YAHshua carried His Cross, the 14th 'day' of Abib/Passover wasn't a 7th 'DAY' SABBATH 'DAY' every year. So you just have to figure out when the year starts on which New Moon 🌒 Day and start counting 'days', both backwards and forwards. The 15th 'DAY' of each Moon-th is always a Full 🌕 Moon 'DAY' and a 7th 'DAY' SABBATH 'DAY'. New Moon 🌒 Day each Moon-th is a worship day but never a 7th 'DAY' SABBATH'DAY'. So now start studying all Bible dates for their relevance. @ronallens6204

The problem is we on the Gregorian calendar only have 12 months technically there are 13 months and there are 28 days in it it's not 365 days in a year it's actually 364 according to the Bible so actually it's still the lunar but it's only 28 days after 28 days the only extra days is because of the month that's because actually we should be counting 28 days every 28 days or But I get what he's saying... The months are 29.5 days. That is why some are 29 and some are 30 to make up the half day short.
Same for the year. There is a 13th month every 2-3 years because the 354 day lunar cycle falls short of the 365.25 day solar cycle by 10 days per year. This can all be observed in the movements and positions of the luminaries which we are given for signs (Gen 1).

Ok , the pattern in the Bible is not 6 working days and then the Sabbath day , please explain as the expert you are, the following Bible passages
New Moon Day Separate from the 6 Work Days and the Seventh-Day Sabbath:
New Moon day is not counted as one of the 6 working days neither is it the seventh-day Sabbath; the new moon day starts the month as day 1 making the weekly Sabbaths to fall on 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th of the lunar month. (See Ezekiel 46:1, Amos 8:5, 2Kings 4:23, and Isaiah 66:23.)
    Exodus 12:
Passover was on the 14th of the first month. The first day of the feast of unleavened bread was on the 15th which was a Sabbath (See Leviticus 23: 4-16). This makes the Sabbaths for the first month (Abib) to have fallen on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and the 29th. (Exodus 12.)
    Exodus 16:
Manna fell for the six week days, but did not fall on the Sabbath which fell on the 22nd, making the other Sabbaths for that month fall on the 8th, 15th and 29th. (Exodus 16.)
    Exodus 19
Israel left Egypt the night of Abib 15. Three months later, on the very same day, the 15th, they rested before the mount. (See Deuteronomy 16:1; Numbers 33:3; Exodus 19:1-2.), thus making the Sabbaths for the third month (as recorded in Exodus 19:1) fall on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. The weekly Sabbaths for the first month (Exodus 12) and the second month (Exodus 16) fell on the same dates also; this is not possible on today's Gregorian Roman calendar which people use to identify their worship days.
    Annual Feasts and High Sabbaths:
Every year, the feast of unleavened bread begins on the 15th, a Sabbath. The first day of feast of Tabernacles also falls on the 15th which is called a "holy convocation" and is followed, eight days later by another "holy convocation" on the 22nd, every single year. Two Sabbaths always falling on the 15th cannot occur on a solar calendar. (See Numbers 29:12-39; Leviticus 23:5, 6, 34, 35, 39).
    Entering Canaan:
The manna never fell on the seventh-day Sabbath. After entering Canaan, Israel kept Passover. The manna ceased on the 16th of Abib, the day after the Sabbath: Exodus 16; Joshua 5:10-12. This places the Sabbath for this month on 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
    Dedication of Priesthood:
Aaron and his sons were sanctified for seven days beginning on New Moon Day (See Exodus 40: 2, 17). On the eighth day (which was also the 8th of the month), there was an assembly of the congregation. During the preceding seven days, they were not to leave the tabernacle. (See Leviticus 8:1- 13; 33-35; 9:1-5). From Exodus 40: 17 we learn that it was the first month (Abib) of the second year after their departure from Egypt, in which Passover was to be kept; this is a double confirmation that the Sabbaths for this month fell on 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
    Solomon:
Solomon kept the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days. On the 8th day (22nd of the month) they made a solemn assembly. Solomon sent the people away on the 23rd, being careful not to send them away on the 22nd, the Sabbath. (See 2 Chronicles 7:8-10). This places the Sabbath for the seventh month on 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
    Esther 9:
The 15th of the 12th month was a rest day, making the 8th, 22nd and 29th rest days as well. (Esther 9.)
    Hezekiah's Reform:
The people began to sanctify on New Moon day of the first month and on the 8th of the month they went to the temple. On the 16th of the month, they "made an end" which was the first day of the work week. (2 Chronicles 29:17.)
    Crucifixion:
Passover was always on the 14th of Abib. (Leviticus 23:5.)
Christ's crucifixion occurred on Passover, on the sixth day of the week. Passover always occurred on the sixth day of the week, followed by the seventh-day Sabbath on the 15th. (See Mark 15:42; John 19:31; Lev. 23:6, 7, 11 and 15; John 19:42.)
    Resurrection:
Christ was resurrected early in the morning on the first day of the week. (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:1 and 2; Luke 24:1; John 20:1.)
Christ was resurrected on the 16th of Abib, the first day of the week, corresponding to the wave sheaf offering, or first fruits. (Leviticus 23:11.)
Paul called Christ the "first fruits of them that sleep" and stated that He was buried and rose the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4 and 20-23.)
On the walk to Emmaus, the two disciples told Christ that it was the third day since the crucifixion. (Luke 24:17-21.)
The crucifixion week establishes the weekly seventh-day Sabbath on Abib 15, thus making the 8th, 22nd and 29th days Sabbaths as well.
    Healing of the Blind Man:
The last day of the Feast of Tabernacles always falls on the 21st day of the seventh month: (See Leviticus 23:34, 36, 39-41; Numbers 29:12; Deuteronomy 16:13-15; Nehemiah 8:13-18; Ezekiel 45:21-25.)
Christ attended the Feast of Tabernacles. (John7:10.)
On the last day of the Feast, the 21st of the seventh month, Christ stood and spoke. (John 7:37.)
Christ spent that night on the Mount of Olives. (John 8:1.)
The next morning, the 22nd of the seventh month, Christ returned to the temple. (John 8:2.)
At the temple, Christ healed a blind man. (John 9:6.)
The healing of the blind man caused great anger for it was the seventh-day Sabbath. (John 9:14.)
This places the weekly seventh-day Sabbaths on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th of the month yet again.
    Paul's Journey:
The first day of the work week always fell on the 2nd of the month, the day after New Moon. In Luke's account of their journey, Paul's company sailed from Philippi after the feast of unleavened bread ended on the 21st of Abib, sailed for five days and arrived at Troas where they stayed seven days. (See Acts 20:5-7.)
The seventh day of their stay at Troas was the second day of the month which Paul refers to as the first day of the week. This again places the Sabbaths on the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th days of the month. (For more on Paul's journey and how it corroborates the luni-solar calendar, click here.)

Why is it so hard to understand that Yah's Great Clock of time is in the heavens, where NO man or Pope can touch it??? Genesis 1:14 "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons (Moedim), and for days, and years (time in general). The moon (luni) and the sun (solar) determine the Moedim (Yah's Feasts, assemblies, convocations, worship times), in addition to time in general, as the verse mentions the reckoning of days and years as well. Psalms 104:19
"He appointed the moon for seasons (Moedim): the sun knoweth his going down." Again, Yah declares that the moon determines all worship times by the Hebrew word Moedim, translated as seasons. Is this too difficult to understand??? I don't get the confusion people fall into. Psalms 89:37
"It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.". The moon is Yah's faithful witness in the heavens that does not lie or fail. All praise and honor to Yahweh via HIS Son Yahshua!!!

@@sneediusrexius Yes. The lunar cycle does reveal the Sabbath every month. It begins with New Moon Day, which is day 1 of the month (it's not a working day nor a seventh day Sabbath). Next are the 6 working days of the week. After those 6 days, is the seventh day Sabbath. This cycle repeats four times per month. Finally the month is either 29 or 30 days depending on the moons' movement. Thereafter, the morning after conjunction is the new moon day every month that begins the cycle of four weeks. The new moon day is the key, the anchor, that unlocks and directs to the seventh day Sabbath every month. And whatever you do, DO NOT mix Yah's Lunar Solar calendar with the Gregorian calendar in reckoning time. They do not coincide. Shalom

Shavuot... using math based on biblical scriptures: During 7 biblical weeks, there is one biblical new moon feast. That's why 7x7=49, and the bible mentions 50 days, because there is one new moon biblical feast. 7x7+1=50. It's not pagan to follow the biblical lunar shabbat and new moon feast. If you think it is pagan to follow biblical stuff, then you mean it is pagan to follow biblical moedim too? Also, the moedim align with the lunar shabbats too, for example, every Pesach is a full moon shabbat, mentioned in the bible too. Saturn-day is from the pagan, roman empire, now called catholic org. They actually pushed down on not allowing the Yahudim, Israelis, from keeping their lunar shabbat, because that, with the new moon feast, messed with the roman empire's business needs in that area when they took over that area of the Yahudim. So unfortunately, keeping Saturn-day is actually a pagan day, but doesn't make one a pagan directly, it's just something in the fallen world that is deception from roman empire/ romanism... catholic org. They, the catholic org, that saturday is the shabbat, and sunday is the day of consecration, attending an org building together. This is in their canon. Also, the founder of seventh day adventist actually wrote about how the biblical lunar shabbat is actually the truth, however, that if they moved back to the original biblical lunar shabbat, and new moon feast, then they couldn't keep their church building business, because shabbat wouldn't stay on a roman empire weekend, and they wouldn't get their charity/funding weekly. So they, and other churches keep the pagan saturn-day and/or sun-day as shabbat, and don't also do the biblical new moon feast, because it would make their church business economically collapse. However, because of this issue, it isn't good to judge others. And it is hard to do biblical shabbat because most work roman weekdays, and that is just an issue in this fallen world we can't easily change. So, I suggest those who can do the biblical lunar shabbats, new moon feasts, and moedim, then cool, and enjoy. Most can't keep the biblical shabbat, and have to still do at least one day of rest and focus on our Creator/Savior, and reset the week, they will have to use a saturn-day or a sun-day... not because they focus on pagan romanism... they still focus on the Creator/Savior. True knowledge is okay to learn, but judging others isn't the right thing, and it's good to helping others understand the challenges of life in this fallen world, and how to trust in HIM to get through it. Everyone, be at peace. Literally, we all need HIS grace and mercy. Blessings to you all.
