Nice video :D Did my bachelors thesis on a QR Flyback Power Supply just about a year ago, to great success! Can't recommend TI's UCC28730 enough, great chip, great documentation.
Normally I use a "hybrid mode" controller at Flyback circuit which is burst mode at no load or ultra light load(for power saving), QR mode at light-mid load and CCM at heavy load.
Something seems not right here. The stray inductance of the transformer causes a ringing on the mosfet turn of edge! and not on the turn on edge. The ringing you're talking about is between the capacitance of diode on the secondary and the transformer. Adding a snubber across the diode dampens this oscillation, but in the CCM you whant this ringing. Or what am i missing.
