For someone who has had 20-30 hours with family, he's doing great. He should look at booking his test. Some more driving lessons and he's good to go I believe.

@@abztube2731 exaggerating much don't you think? Overall, he drives safer than many full license holders on the road.
Examiners sit through hundreds of tests. Many serious faults don't even faze them. Their job is literally to test strangers' driving abilities and have probably seen the worst of the worst. Do you really think they'll be rattled by someone who failed for slightly speeding and not checking blindspots but otherwise had 5 minors? The job does not require drama queens who get scared at the slightest things.
He's making good progress in his learning. Some more lessons and he's good to go.

You're talking out of your backside. The main criteria that examiners are looking for is "safe driving", and he is not a safe driver. Speeding all the time and not looking in your blind spots is dangerous, and the examiner will fail him.

@@redblade8160 because of the backlog, it's ideal to be booking your test months in advance before you are ready. Better to deal with it earlier than later.

I’ve been a learner for 3 years and i got my license 2 weeks ago, me and my dad drove every day weeks before my second test so i feel like a competent driver, I did go to a 2 week speed course also so I was really prepared. I got a few things wrong on my second test like when I reversed around a corner i went up a bit on the sidewalk but the instructor told me that I could do it again and when I start there was a bunch of cars coming so I stopped, even tho I couldn’t complete the reversing I passed since I looked around a lot and was aware of the cars around me. I also almost missed a turn that was only a few meters after I got of the motor way, I have dyslexia and I told the instructor this before the test and he overlooked my almost fail because of this.
I have a automatic license and I live in Sweden. the written test is 70 questions and you have to have 52 right answers and I got 56. 5 questions is just questions they have to see if they can use these questions in future tests. I am really proud of myself for passing, I have ADHD and Autism so I’m not really confident in myself.

Abdullah is a bit of roller-coster operator when it comes to being a driver -- fun and thrilling rides for his passengers are guaranteed! :D
More seriously, though, he's a confident and competent driver. Certainly looks well above the expected skill-level of someone with just 30 hours' worth of driver experience, and that mostly being supervised by another driver and not by a professional instructor. Heck, he gives an impression of being a routined driver.
Hopefully, the lesson of the mock test will help him get more careful with his speed, because for an unexperienced driver it's sometimes difficult to internalize that the speed limits are not so much a question of what we ourselves and our cars are able to handle safely, but what is necessary because of the unpredictability of other road users.

Because I just watched the end of the video and him turning in the final road could have been very costly for him and the other car (what if it's a pedestrian uf he keeps cutting corners).
He drove not bad in total, but he clearly is not some one I consider too be a "good driver."
He still leaks the experince (years of driving in Europe, Africa...) and driving without any outside influcenes.

This is one way of coasting (travelling without drive connected to wheels). Coasting is to be avoided on test. I prefer to slow down a little more/earlier change into second and let clutch back up and glide in. You then have the opportunity to accelerate if it all clears early enough, stop if necessary and select neutral possibly use handbrake if a lengthy stop anticipated or stop and select first to restart immediately. None of this is rushed as you know all the options and restarting can be smooth an instant.

1.Keep watching videos like this one and learn as much about the different driving topics such as clutch control, large roundabouts, mini roundabouts, crossroads etc. Watching and studying videos can save you time and money especially if you are a visual learner.
      2. Find a good instructor, go for 2 lessons and see how you get on with them, if you don't feel you are learning and making progress or comfortable with that instructor find another. Don't feel obligated to stay with them. If they are just getting you to drive around with no goal or building your skill, that's not a good instructor.
      3. Try to drive with family, friends who have a car if you can.
      4. Turn up to lessons with a positive attitude, focused and ready to learn, there will be good days and frustrating days, just keep going, don't give up and you will get there.
      5. Carry out mock tests with instructor and in your test area if possible.
      Good luck

Are you doing automatic or manual? Also it’s being 10 months since you wrote this so are you still learning or passed? 😊
