The Bikes back then looked great!!! They look sporty and sharp and then turned into kinda clunky chunky and funky!!! Lol. I love the seat post and the handle bars and I love the tires from back then! The colored tires were rad man why don't ya see that anymore?!! Ah the dayz of donuts and mushrooms!!! Miss it!!! almost painfully miss it
Oh man I love this. Brings me back to the 80s riding days of me and my friends. We ruled the streets in the bay area. Rode everything we could. built ramps. rode dirt. rode pools. We even got to ride with guys like McCoy, Osborne, Hoffman, Dominguez. We were never better than them - we just loved learning from them - and they were always so humble - and they would just ride with us -- just to ride -- for the joy of riding... No better time to grow up -- no goddamn phones to distract us from LIVING. No participation trophies. And a time when there were real quality bike builders -- the OGs... GT HARO HUTCH PK DYNO REDLINE ELF FLITE DK SKYWAY -- man those were the days. Of all the things I wish we could resurrect -- it would be the 80s and 90s... bmx gear companies --
Ole Dennis McCoy was 1 of My Favorite Guy's.The 80's had so much Style. My Heart ❤️ Flutters just reminiscing about all Bikes,The Apparel Gear and Accessories. The Food,The Events,The Comradery of Everybody enjoying The Good Vibes.Nothing like The New Wave Radical 80's.😎👍🏾
Good job Assorted Productions . Everything 80s is so COOL and still attractive in our Time NOW ...... being an 80 s kid I LOVE ALL things 80s . GOD Bless ALL Reading THISS......
Impossível não se emocionar... a melhor época da minha vida. Hoje com 56 anos me resta a lembranças dos momentos e do meu parceiro de pedal que ja não esta entre nós 😢😢😢
As a now days bmx kid It’s fun to see how bmx has changed over the years. It went from doing a 180 on a half pipe and millions of crazy flat ground tricks to bikes with pegs and double flair tailwhips off half pipes. I can’t decide what I think is better or easier...
How did they manage to drop into the bowls without casing with those huge sprockets back then? They were the size of compact disc now most BMX is half sprockets the size of beer coasters
Well it looks like you already did it 🤷🏻. This is none of my footage but I did take the time to edit all of this, so perhaps you could go make your own work?
the 80s need to repeat itself over and over again.

Funny how BMX in the 80's look so cool compared to the BMX of today.
Bikes today look seriously boring in one tone color. Black!
@@rockeruss555 yeah and the seats are pointing up in the air and the no brakes thing I just don't understand it. 90s is my bmx era

Couldn't agree with you more!!! Bmx turned into The low small seats the chunky tires and no cool color themes!!!

Back before everybody had a computer in their pocket and you had to go outside and make your own fun.
yeah back then BMX freestyle was the bomb but now days I don't see kids riding or anyone
its a whole new ball of wax now days
Love !!!!!
Pretty damm cool to see street riding in the 80s always thought that was something that became known in the late 90s.
Great memories....👊🔥🏁👁
That rocket disaster was no joke
Love the video. Reminds me of my teenage years and doing the same stuff. Loved every minute of it.
Glad it brought you back to those memories! It was a great time period.

The glory days. The best days.
2023 ❤ good old times
back then bikes had premium parts. i still have several. i use to get pretty rad but now im just an old fart and look at my jmc hanging on the wall
I read this comment and then realized you are a chick, that is stellar🥰
back then the bike did the tricks on their own, all you had to do was sit on them and off performing tricks they went.
You could still get a little rad. We have dudes at the local park blasting 5 foot airs in their 50s
Yes the earlier bikes were for many reasons I can think of , much more interesting and cool
Great compilation.
2024 ❤
Keep the Rad Days Rollin'...
Great upload..keepin old school alive👍
Me at the skatepark when I have my old school BMX and people say that it sucks. True story
Rad!
RAD!

Dig it! Showing some oldschool love. Ride on brother
Northeast MotorCo No problem man!
Dominguez pulling 540s 6 feet above the coping almost 40 years ago. Mind blowing.
