It's great that the graphic is from Castlevania 1, because though a lot of people find Phantom Blood boring or a slog, I absolutely loved it because it genuinely felt like an old-school Castlevania anime. Jonathan even resembles Richter a little bit, using various weapons and holy power to travel the land with companions, scale a castle to save a village and defeat the vampire at the pinnacle. It's pretty much CV1, 2 and 3 mashed together with fabulous posing thrown in.

It's great that the graphic is from Castlevania 1, because though a lot of people find Phantom Blood boring or a slog, I absolutely loved it because it genuinely felt like an old-school Castlevania anime. Jonathan even resembles Richter a little bit, using various weapons and holy power to travel the land with companions, scale a castle to save a village and defeat the vampire at the pinnacle. It's pretty much CV1, 2 and 3 mashed together with fabulous posing thrown in.
I remember playing this Jojo game back on my NES. Great times.

When i watched part 1, it already felt like a castlevania anime. I know that there is a castlevania anime based off of Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse, but that was before i knew about it.
