Yo brother honda fan here too on my channel but the xr dirt bike models. Besides that you need to get a po box. I've got a few different 85 honda parts I'd send u plus few cylinder measuring tools I have no idea what they are good for. Love the video even if I think the 86 was better since I owned one for short time 😁😁😁. Catch u in next video peace
funny how we remember and want stuff we couldn't have when we're kids. mine was the early candy apple CT70s the older cool kids were buzzing around. finally traded into a 2100 mile 71 KO sapphire blue one a couple years back
Need your help!!! Trying to replace studs n lugs on ft wheel of my 1985 honda 250es big red. Bought replacement tire n rim. Studs broke off... looked on line but no one shows for my model. What other models inter change? Saw a lot of availability for sx model. Where can i get 4 studs 4 lugs and 4 washers? Any help i would appreciate. Thank you!
As far as motor goes the best one to have is an 87 the 87 has the big reed motor has the same reeds as the LT500R or better known as the quadzilla yours appears to be an 88 or an 89 I would say as it still has the cantilever suspension but has the smaller reed cage bolt pattern
That is absolutely 100% not an 87 top end I owned one that has the small bolt pattern on the reed cage The 87 has the same reeds as the quadzilla in the 87 there's two more bolts than the small reed cage Trust me I know I owned one I've had to argue this with so many people they only did it for 1 year
Hello, Mratombomb i will dig into my notes, im sure you know more about these than me. Again this is my first suzuki rodeo. Lol thanks for the information.
@@mrcbuildsI went back and looked at the video and slowed it down in the parts where I could see the reads and the bolt pattern is definitely it's an 88 or an 89 jug 100% for sure I had one of these bikes and that's how I learned about the big reed motor and the small reed motor The 87 takes the same reads that the quadzilla does and your top end is definitely the newer top end they used those top ends from 88 till 92 when they discontinued the LT250R yours I knew was an 88 or an 89 by the way the rear suspension is because the 85 and the 86 is a non-power valve motor then you have the 87 that use the same reeds as the quadzilla but still continued to use the cantilever suspension 88 they changed the top end went to a smaller reed cage and that continued right till 92 but in 90 they changed the rear suspension to a link suspension instead of cantilever so if someone told you that was an 87 top end they were lying to you
Happy to help bro, it was cool to help with the childhood dream!
Mat done a heck of a job on that motor, looks beautiful!
Yes he did, Now I'm going to have to make the rest of nice too.
Nice job on the motor. Looking forward to seeing final results on all the quirks worked out.
Thank you. I cant wait to see it yellow
Heck yeah man, that engine is beautiful!
Thank you, Matt did a great job on it
Been waiting for this patiently. Glad you got to get it running. Love these quads
Hi Tommy i hope it was worth the wait
@mrcbuilds definitely! Now we need a shootout on the track once she is dialed in. Honda vs Suzuki
Very nice ride! The problem with projects is that after they're done, it's time for them to move on. Hell, that even goes for the Black Angus.
Just happy to have saved another vintage atv.
The 87 top end will fit on a newer bottom end you can make quite a bit more power with the 87 top end with less port work
Yep just checked my notes and i miss spoke, this is an 87 jug on a 88 bottom end. Good eye sir. Thanks for the info.

Amicalement,
Tommy

Hi seahawk. Partzilla.com or rockymountianatv.com. both should have them.
Thank you!
Just clicked on, I'm already excited for this video
Thanks, you should be.
How's things after the hurricane
We got lucky and it just missed us. We had a week of rain and some light wind.
@@mrcbuilds good to hear

What is it? Some sort of quad is all I can tell. The title is a good place to put the make of your quad.
1988 suzuki lt250r quadracer would make for a very long title. It is named in the video and in the discription.
@@mrcbuilds Great find. I think I have those on the list of needed quads. But I know very little about them.
I think it's time for a tri z
I agree! Help me find one. Lol
Tires are OEM
Thank you
