weird little fix i've found is actually using a bit of clear coat and brushing it in and around the joint. i would say apply a medium amount, not too much not too little but it will stiffen the join right up.
This are bootleg kits that china copied the Gundam design of the Barbados Lupus Rex from. So ALL of these Motor Nuclear kits are copied from that model/ design.
