great detailed review: the feedback on use of a motor to go upstream is really relevant to my fishing......going to check out torqueedo motors. thanks guys.
The Torqeedo had a 20” shaft. I have had many issues with the anchor interfering unless I anchor at the motor down. It occasionally with get around the shaft if I don’t raise the motor when I let the line out. That has only happened a few times and it was in stronger current.
Thanks! That will be next weeks video! A side by side comparison of the two. I think they are both solid but they each have some stand out features over the other.
Hey! The one we had was 18lb and it was honestly more than enough. The boat is light so you could probably get away with less but 18lb stopped it for sure
This motor is what Torqeedo calls their short shaft, but it is closer to a 20” shaft. I believe a short shaft would work fine though because I felt like it was deeper than necessary.
@@roadtripangler I purchased a 15" suzuki 2.5 to go on my flycraft 2.0, but it was too short. The rocker on the boat is so high the prop was completely out of the water. Went back to the shop and upgraded to the Honda 2.3 long shaft and it is perfect. Thanks for the info!
That was the initial setup. It would depend on how far you need to break it down each time. I leave mine completely assembled and haul it in the truck or on a trailer. If you had to just take the frame off and deflate the raft that would probably take a few minutes. If you have to break it all the way down and reassemble the whole thing it would take longer. I don’t think you would ever have to go all the way back to the way it was out of the box though. Hope that helps.
I can’t understand why you don’t have way more subscribers. You do some great content.
Thanks! Still a pretty new channel but we are working on it!
Love my OG tan flycraft slick boat that goes places no one else can go
They are very cool and versatile!!
Love this series of content
Thank you!!

Thanks!! There are several electric options but I have had really good luck with Torqeedo and I really like all the data I get with their display.
@@roadtripangler one last thing: did the anchor interfere with the motor on back? whats that shaft length.

I like it looks very durable
It is very durable!
You have to review the water master bruin.
I will check it out!
what section of the Suwannee river in Florida was this trip?
We were near White Springs and then moved to the Santa Fe river near Fort White!
Another dope review video! Any thoughts on this raft versus NRS approach 120

Yes!!! Can’t wait! I’ve been debating between those two rafts nonstop!!
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks and great edit as always!
They make a front lean bar for it. Also it doesn’t look like you are using the reverse lean bar technology
Correct, they do make one. I would recommend it if you plan to fish any kind of white water.
Noticed that you had a Tornado anchor on the boat. What weight would you recommend?

Appreciate the info. Nice job on the video!@@roadtripangler
Thank you!!
How long is the shaft of the motor? Do you need a long shaft (20")?

Actually after some digging it appears they recommend the 20” shaft

1.5 hours to 2 hours to assemble!! Every time or one time??
