Hi Beth. Love all your projects for your sampler / Quaker maynia! Appreciate the tip on thread-bare, I hadn’t heard of that sight. I stitched on Birds Quaker by Marjorie Massey while enjoying your video. It’s been a very fun stitch maynia over here starting many things. Best of luck with the move. 😊
I love your Quaker & in my opinion of you want the words to pop then I would use a darker solid color but if you don't want the words to pop then the light green is beautiful. While watching you I am working on Circle of Songbirds by Janlynn on 14-count White Aida. I am doing 200 stitches on my projects too. I love all your projects they are so beautiful. Happy Moving. Congratulations on your new home. Happy Stitching.
Hi Beth! I'm stitching on Artecy's panda and cub. On the last row of the 15th page stitched! Have one more page to go and then it's finished and off to my niece! Congratulations on your new home! Take care ~Darci
So fun to catch up with you this evening, Beth. I have been stitching Little House Needleworks Battle Hymn of the Republic...but I haven't gotten a whole lot of stitching done...looking up too many times. I'm not sad about it. : ) Love all the WIPs you have been working on lately! Congratulations on the upcoming move, definitely a great decision! And oh the violet patterns, so pretty! I look forward to next time-Happy Stitching!
Love your projects! I have Quaker Virtues as a wip and love it. After May are you going to continue working on it cause if you are i will work on mine too. Good luck with your move thats very exciting. Happy stitching! Margie
Hi Beth! I'm happy to hear about your new home, wishing you all the best with your move. you have enabled me with the forgiving violets pattern, I love it! Thank you for the fantastic shout out of my bags and shop, It's greatly appreciated!
Thanks for sharing your strategy for using the DMC variegated floss. What a wonderful idea. I am going to have to try that. We are also in the middle of a move. The house is an absolute wreck. Thank goodness for the calm that stitching brings
Moving is so stressful, I'll be glad when it's all done. I think you'll like trying out the variegated with their solids, I think it's still somewhat subtle but breaks up the variegation a bit. Thanks for watching!
I’m so excited about your new home. Stairs can be very challenging especially at the end of a long work day. Loved all of the Stitchmaynia Samplers. Just finished Every Opening Flower by Brenda Gervais, With Thy Needle and Thread.
I've seen that pattern I think, so pretty!! I think the kitties will love the new place too, Kiwi has arthritis and stairs can be hard for her. Thanks so much for watching!!❤️
Hi Beth your WIPS are coming along nicely,Beautiful stitching projects, congratulations on the move,I am currently working on a Bristol Sampler Louisa Coulimore nearly finished, have a good week Thankyou for sharing 🪡🇳🇿❤️
Congratulations on the move, it sounds like a great choice. I love the 2 violet pieces, different but both beautiful. I’ve thought about dreaming of Irises as my oldest granddaughter is named Iris, I’m going to take another look at it.
I am so excited for you and your new abode…I know you will be so relieved once the move is complete. I totally agree that balancing solid colours with the variegated floss helps the variegated tones to shine their best. While I watch, I am working to get my swaps and ATC cards fully finished so I can ship them out before the end of the month. Sew much to do!
The DMC website also lists the breakdown of the colours in their Variations and I believe the Coloris line. Congrats on your move; my husband and I are also working on moving from a larger house to a one level place. Your projects are all beautiful. While watching this video, I was working on the last 10% of Jardin Prive's Spring Quaker. The other three seasons are already completed. I'll post it in your group when done.
Great video! Thanks for the suggestion on using variegated threads. Didn’t know you could look up the separate floss numbers. Good luck with your move!
Every one of your Maynia samplers are beautiful! I would have a difficult time choosing to stop working on all of them. Last week I started the Come To The Garden sampler; I am changing all of the colors to suit my aesthetic. It is a beautiful pattern.💕. Congratulations on your new home and good luck with the move! 😊

Glad you are getting a chance to fall back in love with some WIPs that have been idle. Good luck with the move!
Hi, I'm enjoying it! But now I don't want to put them away😂
Congratulations on your move. Every time I see DMC 4505 I swoon.

Hi Donna, thanks so much for watching! I'll have to check out that Bristol Sampler.
So glad to hear things are moving along with the house! I would say stitching will be a bit disrupted for 2 or 3 months!!!
At least this time it's a local move and not cross country!! But everything is happening so fast!
Congratulations on the move, it sounds like a great choice. I love the 2 violet pieces, different but both beautiful. I’ve thought about dreaming of Irises as my oldest granddaughter is named Iris, I’m going to take another look at it.
