Nice to meet you! I love your finishes. The standard for framing is like if you want an inch around, then on the bottom it should be 1 1/2 to 2 inches. This pulls the eye up to the work. You will notice with a bigger top border, your eye goes to that empty area. You are a sweet young lady and I am glad you found a good LNS. My closest store is over an hour away. Your husband is a good guy helping you out and encouraging you.

@pacificcoaststitcher I just restarted it. I started out 2 over 1, full stitch on 25ct Lugana but it was too tight, I I just restarted it last night doing 2 over 1, 1/2 stitch. It’s going to work much better. It’s going to take years so of course I will do smaller ones as well. 😱😂

I have worked on autumn pieces this fall - bought a hunch of Mill Hill button & beads autumn series kits. I stitched them on fabric in place of the perforated paper.

Thank you. Good job. How lucky you are to be near an LNS. I live in the Los Angeles area so my nearest is your LNS or the Attic in Mesa Arizona. I’m working on Caroline’s Sewing Bag. I’m using 14 count fiddler cloth. I’m loving it. I’ll catch you again at the end of the month. 🦃🍁🪡🧵
Not sure if you're sewing right sides together and flipping, but if you are, you can try glue basting the ricrac with either Elmers or applique glue, setting it with an iron with a cloth over the ricrac so you don't brun it. This will keep it in place. A little goes a long way with the glue, so tiny dots is all you need.
Great job Rachel! Hello from Michigan. Like everyone else I like to add a few touches of stitching with my home decor. Just began Turkey Time by Erica Michael’s. I’ve been stitching since I was a young girl & am so delighted to see so many young women stitching. Happy Day & Congrats! 🎉

Primrose. Once I get that, I’ll start organizing my Christmas/winter stitching…thank you for watching & leaving a comment. So much more to come! :)
Congratulations, Rachel, on your marriage, move, and your first flosstube. I loved your video, and I am looking forward to your next one. I love your choice of charts. It is very similar to my taste. I am a seasonal stitcher, too.

Did you participate in Jingle Ball last year? It looks so fun!
@ Yes! I’ve done it both years. Highly recommend!!!!!!
Welcome and greetings from Northern Nevada! Glad to see you join and knowing you will find lots of support. Fun pieces and looking forward to more!
@@cheryldowd6916 thank you so much for the framing tips - I need them :) I was disappointed with how much space there was at the top, but we live and learn, right?! So nice to meet you! Thank you for leaving a comment.

Great first flosstube. Congratulations! My son lives about 20 minutes from Stitchers Paradise - so I usually stop in when I’m in Vegas visiting my son. Being such a big fan of Primrose Cottage AND living in Vegas, I bet you’re anxious for their brick and mortar to open. It’s about a two hour drive from Vegas, but OH SO BEAUTIFUL! I just started stitching early this year and just started my first HAED! I’m so excited!
Love the FFOs!
@Cali_Jeni a HAED?!? VERY IMPRESSIVE! They intimidate me - soooo much stitching and soooo big LOL. Are you enjoying it so far?
@pacificcoaststitcher I just restarted it. I started out 2 over 1, full stitch on 25ct Lugana but it was too tight, I I just restarted it last night doing 2 over 1, 1/2 stitch. It’s going to work much better. It’s going to take years so of course I will do smaller ones as well. 😱😂
Rachel, what a GREAT GREAT 1st Flosstube, my goodness I truly enjoyed spending time with you!!!!! I finished my Halloween stitching and now I’m stitching Christmas!!!!! 💚

Hi Rachel! Wow, you are a natural in front of the camera! Congrats on your first flosstube, it was great! Loved what you have stitched and are planning to stitch! Congrats on your marriage and move. Looking forward to your next flosstube! Thanks for your time and sharing your beautiful pieces.❤
@@kogrady31 hi! Thank you for your comment! I’m scared for the trouble I’m going to get into having an LNS close to me 😆😆. Glad I’m not the only one still stitching Fall! However, seeing everyone’s Christmas stitching is starting to get me in the mood for it.
I have worked on autumn pieces this fall - bought a hunch of Mill Hill button & beads autumn series kits. I stitched them on fabric in place of the perforated paper.
I enjoyed seeing all of your projects. Great job. Doesn't look like a 'first' video. I'm trying to get some Christmas ornaments done to decorate my small tree. First time I'm doing that this year. I'll be starting my own flosstube in a couple of weeks so I'm trying to get organized. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos. Good luck.
Awesome job Rachel 🙂. Your finishes are beautiful. I am all in on Christmas patterns. Working on Stacy Nash It’s a wonderful life and several ornaments from Stitching with the Housewives. Great format on your channel

@@crosstitcher2 thanks!! Lots more stitchy fun to come. What are you stitching on right now?
Thank you.

I have subscribed, and I look forward to following along on your stitching journey!
