My father bought each of his girls train sets...OS gauge. Then, on Christmas, he raced them around the tree platform. He made them jump the track. He had the steam engine switch to the passenger diesel engine's cars and back.
I'd say 45-50 tops.. just passed the crossing there are two opposite curves 1/2 mile ahead in Lilly before Cassandra and they can't go any faster. This is what railfanning is all about. Epic!!!

Freight conductor here, probably getting scooped here (over taking a slow train). Not unsual at all but just to happened to be at a crossing.
This is pretty rare lol engineer for 7 years and I've probably had a head to head race like this on multi track one time.
