@@Quantum_AI_Tech hi i got Vauxhall zafira b cdti 1.7 BC button stopped working while car been parked up for 2 months. Radio works fine but don't display on screen for example it doesn't show what station it's playing but car drives fine please help thanks.
Good old Zafira B. They don't make cars like that anymore. I bought one new at the end of 2005, sold it about a year ago. Lasted me 17 years. I didn't maintain it as good as I could have, so at the end it had many issues, the biggest one was rust. Now I have a Zafira Tourer, which I bought used (3 years old, 100k km, in excellent condition), absolute garbage compared to Zafira B. First row seats are much smaller, very uncomfortable (same seats with different texture are used in Astra J). Second row has 3 tiny seats, also distance from floor to seat is smaller, so they are really usable only for kids. In old Zafira B I could drive a whole day without issues, drove all over Europe and enjoyed it. In Tourer I can barely drive for 2-3 hours a day. If you have good Zafira B, do everything to keep it, Zafira C is a completely different vehicle, has nothing in common with B except name. I disagree about diesel though. My car was 1.8 petrol with manual transmission, which was very reliable and cheap to maintain.
I've owned 3 now first not many probs, then the 06 petrol 1.6 steering rack went within 12 months, now I'm driving a 1.8 petrol 2011 had it six months already replaced whole exhaust and back brakes and now has developed a noise I'm fearing it's to do with transmission so my experience is stay clear of the zafira if can help it
I love my Zafira B 1.7CDTI Elite (2011) I got super lucky with mileage as this has only 75K the usual advisories but good maintenance and these will last forever. Is your new car an automatic? What was the reason for its sale? Sorry too many questions 😂
I don’t know if you’ve heard about this, but over the past few years there have been numerous reports of Zafira Bs unexpectedly catching fire due to a problem with the heating and ventilation system, and as a result, Vauxhall had to recall over 200,000 Zafira Bs because of this.
Does your battery only last three years? Is it is an aftermarket battery because my original Vauxhall battery (Eight years old now) is perfectly fine...
Yeh, after market 3 years and they start giving problems, though don't drive much and usually short distances so resulting in shorter battery life span.
it's rain water that can collect in the bulkhead if the drainage holes are blocked which can happen over time, but it's likely most are not even aware of this issue and drive around with several litres ton of water sloshing around. east to unblock, just stick a screw driver in the holes, I'll shedule a video.
@@Quantum_AI_Tech aw i see mate am buying one tomorow been stood a while when i had test drive little bit of smoke coming out back its 1.9 d anything to worry about do u think?
It is cold, so likely exhauast will look smokeu. Did it drive okay, how old is it, how many miles, under 100k and you should be be ok if it drives well.
How to Guides and Reviews I been looking at them on 14 and 16 plates. Last three I have checked was previous write offs. I just hate it when the private seller lies about the history.

Yeh, keep the underside clean else they will rust and the cage won't work.

I;ll be doing a 2 year update next month.

Hi friend, your video is very helpful. But mine middle seat is not sliding. It seems to have stuck. Can you please help with any idea?

diesel should be a lot more robust then petrol versions

Time for an upgrade
I have a 2014 zafria tourer
If you put the seats down and push forward, Do you think i can sleep in it in a straight line ? Thinking of getting it to go camping. Am 5'7.
Should be doable. I got a 172cm fridge in it one time.
We still got the old zafia really like driveing it as its easy visions unlike are lovely new corsa thats low and got small windows
yeh, once you experienced a zafira, you don't want to go back to the 'low' cars thats why we moved onto a Disco sport. Zafiras are great cars!
How to Guides and Reviews were going to get another zafira soon
You have to check you’re car becouse it is starting after 2-3 sec and it makes a sound that should not be there
Long gone now.
Why would you get a timing belt done at a dealer??350 I was quoted at a local garage.
It was just after I bought it.
I got timing belt, water pump and coolant flush for 300 pounds for my Zafira A

Yeh, Ive done several videos on the recall, of what to expect when taking your zafira to a dealer to get it fixed as this one was.
I have Zafira A...👑
whats the coolant temperature range
hello, i want to buy the 1.8 with 140hp. what should i check?
Usual stuff, like mileage, service history. Is that a petrol or diesel, better to go with a diesel, more robust.
My Zafira has developed a problem starting. even when warm so its not glow plugs. Did you ever have this problem?
No, I found it quite reliable in terms of starting. I presume youve checked the battery.
@@Quantum_AI_Tech Thanks for responding. yeah the battery's fairly new.
try giving it a full 24 hour charge just to make sure its full. A diesel Zafira takes a decent amount of amps to start it.
@@Quantum_AI_Tech Thanks. I'll give it a try.

Yeh, after market 3 years and they start giving problems, though don't drive much and usually short distances so resulting in shorter battery life span.
Our 12 year old Zafira has its original battery and has done 110,000! It also has its original exhaust!
What was the water at the beginning come from the skirts
blocked drainage hole, thanks for reminding me. I'll see if I still have the footage and do a video on it.
Do you still have the Vauxhall zafira
where is the all the water coming from (shown at start of video)

is that why the limp mode happened
Youve had it 10year only do 5k miles a year u say but its on 118k 🤥
When I bought it, it had done about 90,000 miles. The video was done at 8.5 years.

WE HAVE IT BUT IT AN OPEL
In UK they are sold as Vauxhaul Zafira's, in the rest of the world sold as Opel Zafira. I owned it for10 years, was a great car!
You want the 150 bhp it's like shit of shovel
Sell me this car mate.
Went over 2 years ago,
How to Guides and Reviews what a shame. Been trying to buy one for a month or so but all had issues.
Your going to find it tough to find a Zafira thats 10 years old without any issues.
