wonder if those mirror immage turbos are still patented by nelson , with the billet stuff available nowadays should be too hard to change the rotation there prolly be more than a few interested in puting a twin set like that on there engine
+Turbo Lab America I have emailed you all about my HX40..I was wanting quicker spool times, and wasnt sure which one I should go with from you all. Thanks
Im interested in a twin setup of these with the 67mm 10 blade wheel on the .82 T3 housing. My engine is a V8 with max lb. min. of flow of 69lbmin at Pressure ratio of 3.0 to 3.3 minimum on low boost will be around 58lb min. Where does this compressor fall in as far as flow wise? What is another turbo map to compare it to? Thanks.
Hello Im looking at a hx40 10 blade the seller says its a 1.0 housing Does this turbo come with that size? Im putting it on a 3.8l v6 Just worried its to big
Hi , for Singel Turbo project for BMW N54 engine,, around 750WHP. witch Turbo do you suggest that we have minimum lag and most TQ from the engine at LOW RPM? HOLSET?PER? BW? i am not a fans of Garret. and please let me know can you Install ceramic Bearing for HX40?
+tesla747 The hx35 turbines are 60 x 70mm. These won't work. You could pick up some .82 t3 housings and we could machine them for you to the hx35 for 80$ per housing.
+DSM-BOY it's doesn't exist for the hx35. I could create it as long as the casting doesn't have to be remade. The gt35r turbine housing won't fit because of the wheel size is too big already and the bearing housing area is machined too far in for anything besides a gt ball bearing center housing to fit.
+Turbo Lab America. So how much we talking about one of this housing for the hx35? Aldo does come v-ban or what's the option? In really interested on one if you can make it, just let me know where to purchase it
+DSM-BOY The fastest way would be find a .82 t3 for a garrett t3 turbine 56 x 65mm, and i can machine it for the hx35. If not then i could have it made but it can take 3 months to make. i would just have them made with the vband outlet.
+privatryan .6 mm larger than the compressor wheel on the bore, the exhaust wheel I machine to .7 mm larger than the wheel, then I sand them a little to polish them. And .020 from the radius of the turbine wheel. For the compressor wheel I make the radius .015. The difference is the turbine housing expands a lot more from heat. The books call for .07 to .08 for the compressor wheel inside bore but I sand down the machine lines and polish it out. If the housing is cutting rough with .07 clearance, it will over bore and ruin the housing. Some housings like the old h1c cover cut rough even with coolant and an aluminum carbide. Those housings had a lot of air pockets usually. Most likely those housings require high speed to cut or different feed and speed. I wrote all my program to machine a 400 rpm but I have some programs that are set to CNC at 1000 rpm but I turn them down to 500.
650-700 hp on a gas engine. You should confirm the measurement of the shaft because some of the marines had a 62mm turbine , this turbine housing is for a 64
+Walter Stremouchow I didn't plan on it but I could grab a pte .58 , .68, .81, or .84 t4 and remake a sample. It's expensive so I tried to have the one made that I though would be most used.
+koen leysen there is no scientific formula for me to know the answer to that question. If you fix all of your boost leaks and have it tuned properly than it won't have s problem spooling.
I want the 10 blades turbo. How I can get

Is there a equivalent "cm" rating to this housing?
Does the hx40 wheel fit on the hx35 center Bering? I have a hx35 I'm just considering to upgrade with this housing.
+DSM-BOY yes but machine work is required for the compressor wheel pocket size.

Hello
Im looking at a hx40 10 blade
the seller says its a 1.0 housing
Does this turbo come with that size?
Im putting it on a 3.8l v6
Just worried its to big
I don’t have a 1.0
How can I buy 10 blade turbo
How would the 64/76 .82 housing compare in spool to the bep .70 housing? I know that A/R numbers are different between manufacturers.
I have no testing data for that. The .82 should out spool and out perform the .70 based on the scroll design.
Do you have any testing data on that? Have you compared them or are you just making assumptions?
pretty sure he answered your question when he answered mine.
I was referring to data to support the speculation of performance based on "design". That's rather vague.

You need to go next-level and get a BW EFR. They use them on F1 cars for a reason.
thanks for your answer
Sam Taheri No prob. Check 'em out:

thanks again,,
I am looking at changing the exhaust housing on my twin HX-35W's. I am looking at the 13cm housings. Are these similar?

+Turbo Lab America where can we get this type of housing for the hx35? Will the 35r hot side fit if machine?

what clearance do you machine the turbine and compressor housing to?

Turbo Lab America i have a tdo6 17c that may need to be rebuilt here soon. is the comp housing big enough to accommodate a 20g upgrade?
How can I buy the turbo from you
How does a 8 blade hx40g will flow on a .82 t3?
650-700 hp on a gas engine. You should confirm the measurement of the shaft because some of the marines had a 62mm turbine , this turbine housing is for a 64
I'm looking at your page and I cant find the H1C turbine housing. I'm looking for 12cm or 9cm.
+bunker1622 I don't have that. I'm having this same housing machined for the hx35 / h1c. You could just grab an hx35 turbine housing
will this turbine housing be available in T4?
+Walter Stremouchow I didn't plan on it but I could grab a pte .58 , .68, .81, or .84 t4 and remake a sample. It's expensive so I tried to have the one made that I though would be most used.
what size is the .82 ar in cm?
Approx 9.5
damn and i just bought a bep .70 housing for my hx 40
do you have a turbine housing for an ef3
+Malo Jones do you know if that had the 58.8 X 67.2 turbine. I have the turbine housings for those
+Turbo Lab America for the evo10 and evo9
i need t3 .63 turbine housing machined for a hx35, could you machine one?
+koen leysen I can do the machine work but I don't have a housing to supply.
and how will the .82 housing work on spool for a 2.0 engine? with a hx35.
+koen leysen there is no scientific formula for me to know the answer to that question. If you fix all of your boost leaks and have it tuned properly than it won't have s problem spooling.
OK, to be sure i really want a .63 housing. could you machine a Garrett .63 t3 housing 4bolt outlet or v-band if i pay up front?
