    !!! UPDATE !!!
    I just noticed that I misspoke on where the 4th right ball (5-Ball) goes on the break. I stated that it goes to the RIGHT SIDE RAIL before it settles in the predicted spot, when in fact it goes to the SHORT RAIL and then still goes to the predicted spot!
    I just received an email saying that Outsville has 30 more sets of the Code Red AccuRacks. Get them while you can!!!

    Nice video. Thanks. Very helpful 👌 I am concerned about the speed because some players may argue that may not be a legal break. Most leagues don't have that rule, I think, but it may create friction between players. It's very good information though because now I know how to rack for my opponent and myself. Great content 👌

    Lots of very good information about he break. Not many people give the exact information like you have here. Is the Code Red Accu rack better than the original Outsville racks?

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer

      I didn't see a difference, but I really like how the red contrasts with the blue felt.

  • @andraskoleszar9759
    @andraskoleszar9759 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Wow, that is consistency on an other level. Amazing explanation! How come you put the one ball on the spot, is that the APA format? I thought they require the 9ball to be on the spot

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer
      @LilChrisPoolPlayer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 1-ball on the spot is the "standard" way of racking for 9-ball. Then came along racking the 9-ball on the spot, along with the 3 point rule.
      I haven't dabbled too much with the 9-ball on the foot spot, but I may start looking into it.

    Great video. How long have you played Chris?

  • @nirsharony5447
    @nirsharony5447 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great video!
    Question: as it is your table, you have complete control over where the top of the rack is. When going to pool halls, I am not sure that all the tables have a mark for the top rack ball and even if they do, that it is aligned correctly in relation to the table.
    Is it legal for the players to position the rack as they see fit on the table or do they have to follow a strict position?

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer
      @LilChrisPoolPlayer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I wouldn't say "strict position", but if the table has a foot spot then you'll most likely try to get the head ball right on the foot spot. If the table doesn't have a foot spot, you'll likely line the rack up with the center diamond of the short rail and then try to push the rack straight until you think the head ball is lined up with the foot string.
      The information in this video should allow you understand what could be the cause of the rack not breaking as expected.

    Don't the template type racks effect the balls when breaking?
    Its a wonder them type are allowed if they do.....

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer
      @LilChrisPoolPlayer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've only seen a template rack affect a ball when it slowly rolls along or across the rack. At a medium or fast pace, they have no affect on a ball.

    Regarding the rules. Besides the 1 ball, do the players have a choice in how to arrange the other balls in the rack? As you pretty much know where the 1 ball is going to go, you want to place the 2 ball in such a way that it will be "easier" to go from 1 to 2.
    Given this knowledge, do tournaments or leagues force the 2 ball to start off from a specific spot in the rack so that players will not take advantage of this knowledge?

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer
      @LilChrisPoolPlayer  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everyone should know that pattern rack is shunned upon.
      In most tournaments that I've participated in, down the middle of the rack will be 1 - 9 - 2. The other 6 balls are "randomized". I've seen to where if the 2-ball is caught not racked in the back, it's either a loss of turn and the incoming player plays on or re-racks and breaks.

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer
      @LilChrisPoolPlayer  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not exactly... I'm hitting slightly above center, whereas a stun shot is slightly below center.

  • @tonyparmar7647

    Yes but how are these effected with a stock rack most tournaments and leagues use stock rack.

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer
      @LilChrisPoolPlayer  10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      By "stock rack", I'm assuming you mean triangle rack. With those, you just have no guarantee that all the balls will be frozen together and so the result will slightly vary.

    I’m a bit confused: The average break speed of the 5 examples was between 10 and 11 MPH. Then, you say the top speed was 18+. What am I missing?

    • @LilChrisPoolPlayer
      @LilChrisPoolPlayer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That was for anyone that was looking at the break speed app close enough and saw that MY current top speed was at 18.66mph. If I was using the app for the very first time, and it didn't have a top speed recorded, I'm more than certain someone would've ask what is my top break speed.
      That's why I demonstrated what my top speed break is and to show that "POWER" isn't really needed to get a consistent break.
