Do you prefer smooth leather or suede leather? I prefer smooth due to its durability and longevity. Let me know!
Okay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the *LVGUCI* book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations
I think you commented on the wrong video!
I just washed suede shoes with water😂 and then I see this 😅
is your suede getting stiff after washing with water?
Hahaha. Oops! Don't fear, if you've done this, you can still recover somewhat! You'll want to get some suede conditioner (mink oil spray or other), and a suede brush. Use both appropriately according to the instructions and this will bring the supple and soft feel back to your suede for the most part. Let me know how it turns out! Check out the tools here: kit.co/evumies
Right😂
Ok, so how do you clean the mesh part of the sneaker without trying to wet the suede part?
@@mprm247 Great question. I'd suggest putting an absorbent cloth inside the shoes to absorb any excess moisture and very gently use a small brush (like a toothbrush) to scrub the mesh. You can do it slowly and carefully. At the end of the day, don't fret too much about getting your suede wet, it's not the end of the world. Just note that you can potentially cause water spots on your leather. To fix water spots, you'll have to dampen the entire suede with water, just don't soak it. After it's dry, you can brush the suede back to the original texture. I hope this helps. All advice is at your own risk since I don't know your exact situation. All the best!
*For deep cleaning suede and nubuck dirtier spots, Saphir Omnidaim is also recommended. You use a small container of water (doesn't need to be filled all the way). Then you poor in a little bit of the Saphir product. Mix it together until its bubbly. I recommend using a round horsehair daub brush instead of the brush that comes with it (the bristles fall out a bit). I tried the Saphir Omnidaim on a pair of suede boots Inown, and the look really improved! Then for the inside of the boots use shoe trees or stuff with paper towels or newspaper for drying. After it dries, you use a suede/nubuck brush to fix the nap of the material. You can also use a suede/nubuck eraser for additional cleaning too if you'd like! Overall it did a great job! My boots remained soft as well! There's other brands of suede/nubuck cleaners out there. Ones that use water, and others where you don't use water and it's foam in a bottle.*
*Again, I used it because my boots had some damage from being in the snow and walking on salt treated concrete. It's good for many stains! I've seen someone on TH-cam clean out a wine stain too! So it can clean shoes that have all sorts of levels of staining. I do believe there are certain cases where there might be stain we can't remove. That happens of course. Anywho, I wanted to let people know that there are suede/nubuck cleaning products that do use water and we don't have to be afraid of them. Be sure to read the reviews, and you'll hopefully be ok with whichever brand you pick out.*
*Great video overall! The suede eraser works wonders for sure! It helped me a lot with my own suede shoes and my boots that have nubuck! In fact it removed a lot of work for me, so that I spent less time scrubbing my boots.*
Thank you so much for your contribution. I am familiar with Saphir Omnidaim, though I've never personally used it. It seems to work well, but is definitely the premium $$$ choice when it comes to suede care. If it's what you need, it's a great choice. Appreciate your time, friend!
Best suede cleaning vid I've seen, awesome job

Hello, great video! I have an additional question, how do you clean the fabric between the suede leather parts? Any tips for this?
Hey friend! Thanks so much for watching. That's a great question. An answer I should have covered in the video. When it comes to the mesh, you can try to spot clean with a microfiber cloth. Make sure to put an absorbent towel underneath (inside the shoe) in order to catch the liquid so it doesn't bleed into the suede. Simply add some cleaner to the cloth and gently rub the soiled mesh area. Repeat as necessary and then finally with some fresh water to remove the cleaner. This is what I'd suggest! Hope that helps! Let me know how it turns out.
Is there a difference between suede erasers and normal erasers? A couple weeks ago I used a regular eraser on white suede but it left a dark mark and now I'm not sure if I can fix it. Could a suede eraser fix it? Thanks!
What a great question! Yes, there is a difference. Many normal erasers are colored and will rub off their color onto the suede. In essence, they do a similar function, but with suede erasers, they add grittiness that acts like micro sandpaper that allows the eraser to better remove marks and dirt from suede. However, you can get similar results depending on the issue. Just know that a normal eraser may actually rub in the dirt or mark more, whereas the specially formed suede eraser's goal is to remove it more thoroughly.
@@evumies Thank you so much! I'll be buying one asap!
Hello, I cleaned my shoes with the angelus brand eraser but there were some scratches left from the eraser and they faded a little, the color is navy blue, do you know if it is possible to remedy it? thank you
Hey friend! This may have occurred because you pressed too hard. But don't worry! If there's some fading, all you need to do is condition your suede. Adding suede conditioner (oil) to the leather will bring back the natural pigment. Be careful. You can't use regular leather conditioner, you'll need to buy a mink oil spray and use suede only conditioners. You should be conditioning your suede anyways whether you have fading or not. This will make your leather last for years to come. Check out my kit.co/evumies for my suggestions on suede sprays. I'd suggest Angelus Mink Oil Spray.
Also, you'll want to properly brush you suede to bring back the nap. Either get a harder bristle brush or a suede brush. Again, check out my kit.co/evumies for tools.
Let me know if you need any help!
Yo if u dont mind me askin what shoes are those cant find them
No worries. These are the model: ML574AA2 or incense: stockx.com/new-balance-574-incense
Thanks bro I was just about to dip my shoes in water.
No worries. It would be best if you avoided water altogether, but even if you did, there's ways to partially restore it! Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks so much for watching!
A regular eraser bro, its the same
Hey bro. I appreciate the comment. Though, unfortunately they're not the same. Many other "regular" erasers can actually ruin your suede. If you have a colored eraser, it can also completely discolor your leather by rubbing off onto it. Please be careful. Again, suede erasers are literally made from different materials and provide more sand-paper like qualities specifically for suede. Please take my advice, since I've ruined very nice suede in the past. All the best, bro.
@evumies idk bro i have tons of Jordan's, use plain ol pink eraser. Never had a problem 🤷🏾♂️
@@kingmowe I'm glad that works for you, bro! Just be careful on white shoes, it can ruin them.
@@evumies yessir thanks for the advice
