I think being older than Earth by around 5 billion years old is just a tiny bare minimum. Another comment puts that Oryx and his siblings were probably 10 billion years old, which is insanity knowing that *our* universe is 13 billion years old. However, Destiny's verse possibly stretches even further back than 13 billion years old as its creation mythos states that time only began after the Gardener and Winnower burned down the tree of silver wings. Yeah most people don't realize how massively nerfed Oryx was when we fought him, he was at a mere fraction of his full power. I won't go into much detail but i've always maintained a 6.5/7 out of 10 in Rhulks favor with high difficulty. This is under the assumption that Rhulk is fighting at full power. If he plays around like he did with us thinking Oryx is beneath him he's getting cooked.
@CovenantArmada I'd agree to that post-Final Shape. While I can see why you think that, I just think it's much harder to prove when Rhulk is our strongest opponent pre-Final Shape.

one guardian wont do, 6 guardians would beat him as lone they know what they are doing in the kings fall raid and they needed to use everything they got against oryx, and to fully kill him u have to kill him at his throne world outside of it he cant be killed if im right on the lore of him

Most likely u do know when we killed him he was like 5 percent power and could have negged us easily and only died bc he wanted to live through touch of malice him being immune is a lore thing the sword logic doesn’t let u damage a person I’f you don’t scale it wasn’t until we blew up the light bombs that oryx was weakened and still he was pretty much fine at 5 percent power shit even his daughters have insane feats
The Guardians were never meant to defeat Oryx. The amount of Hive slain is the reason we succeeded. Crota was a major conduit for tithing power to Oryx. He was a starved, severely weakened God by time we had reached his throne world. Basically, much like against Rhulk, we only won due to plot armor.
