The Chaka Chaka chant is reminiscent of the background chants in the Greek plays. During a recent visit to Bali, I saw a similar fire dance after playing out the episodes of Ramayana. A barefoot person in costume goes around in a frenzy and puts out the fire with hands and bare feet.
